In these contexts, conventional pulpectomy using zinc oxide-eugenol (ZOE), although effective, may present operational limitations that restrict its large-scale applicability in public health systems.\n\nIn this scenario, non-instrumental endodontic treatment (NIET), based on the concept of Lesion Sterilization and Tissue Repair (LSTR), has emerged as a simplified alternative. Among the available options, CTZ paste shows potential for single-visit application, reducing clinical time and technical complexity.\n\nThis study aims to evaluate the clinical and radiographic non-inferiority of CTZ paste compared to conventional pulpectomy with ZOE in primary molars with pulp necrosis, with or without abscess or fistula, treated in emergency dental care settings.\n\nThis is a randomized, pragmatic, controlled, non-inferiority clinical trial conducted at a single center, with clinical and radiographic follow-up at 3, 6, and 12 months. Participants will be allocated into two groups: (1) NIET with CTZ paste and (2) conventional pulpectomy with ZOE.\n\nPrimary outcomes include pain resolution and absence of clinical signs of infection. Secondary outcomes include radiographic success, clinical time, child behavior (Frankl Scale), need for retreatment, and oral health-related quality of life.\n\nThe findings are expected to provide robust evidence regarding the effectiveness of CTZ paste under real-world clinical conditions, contributing to the development of more accessible and effective protocols within public health systems, with the potential to expand access to conservative treatment and reduce early tooth extractions in pediatric dentistry.",[71,72,73,74,75,27,76,77,78,79],"Pulp Disease, Dental","Pulp Necrosis","Pulp Therapy in Primary Molars","Primary Teeth","Pulpectomy","Dental Care for Children","Treatment Outcome","Quality of Life","Health Services Accessibility",[81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92],"pulpectomy","pulpotomy","CTZ paste","NIET","Non-instrumental endodontic treatment","LSTR","Lesion sterilization and tissue repair","Endodontic infection","dental abscess","Fistula","Emergency dental treatment","Public health dentistry","2026-05-07",{"date":95,"type":47},"2026-05-12",{"date":97,"type":19},"2026-06-08",{"date":99,"type":19},"2028-02-28",{"name":101,"class":54},"University of Sao Paulo",{"id":103,"slug":104,"hasResults":11,"nctId":105,"briefTitle":106,"officialTitle":107,"acronym":108,"eligibilityCriteria":109,"healthyVolunteers":110,"sex":16,"minAge":111,"maxAge":112,"enrollmentInfo":113,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":115,"phases":4,"briefSummary":116,"conditions":117,"keywords":126,"overallStatus":43,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":142,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":143,"startDateStruct":145,"completionDateStruct":147,"leadSponsor":149,"locationsCount":151},"100632676","neck-musculoskeletal-symptoms-among-turkish-endodontists-100632676","NCT07516782","Neck Musculoskeletal Symptoms Among Turkish Endodontists","Analysis of Neck Musculoskeletal Symptoms, Functional Parameters, and Associated Factors in Turkish Endodontists","ENDO-NECK","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Aged 25 to 65 years\n* Actively practicing as an endodontist in Turkey in public institutions, university hospitals, or the private sector\n* Willing and able to provide informed consent\n* Endodontists with or without neck pain\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* History of cervical spine surgery within the last 3 months\n* History of cervical spine infection within the last 3 months (e.g., spondylodiscitis)\n* History of malignancy involving the cervical region\n* Spinal cord compression due to tumor or another cause\n* Presence of neurological deficit\n* Inflammatory disease involving the cervical region, such as rheumatoid arthritis\n* Use of muscle relaxant medication within the last 1 week",true,"25 Years","65 Years",{"count":114,"type":19},120,"OBSERVATIONAL","This observational study aims to evaluate the prevalence, severity, and characteristics of neck musculoskeletal symptoms among Turkish endodontists.
