Despite advances in the 2021 WHO molecular classifications, treatment options remain limited and often ineffective in high-grade tumours. New third-generation sequencing technologies and three-dimensional models derived from patient tumours offer promising tools for more comprehensive genomic characterisation and preclinical evaluation of drug responses. However, the lack of integrated preclinical studies remains a limitation, necessitating coordinated projects to develop personalised therapeutic strategies. The study aims to investigate the genetic and biological characteristics of paediatric brain tumours. To this end, tumour tissue samples taken during planned surgery and peripheral blood samples will be analysed. Advanced genetic analyses will be performed on these materials to identify tumour alterations and the patient's genetic characteristics. In addition, experimental in vitro models derived from the tumour will be developed to evaluate the response to different chemotherapy drugs. The information obtained will be used to better understand the mechanisms of tumour growth and resistance and to promote the future development of more targeted and personalised therapies.",[27,28,29],"Pediatric Brain Tumors","Genomics","Epigenetic","RECRUITING","2026-02-10",{"date":33,"type":34},"2026-02-18","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":34},"2025-10-21",{"date":38,"type":21},"2026-10",{"name":40,"class":41},"Meyer Children's Hospital IRCCS","OTHER",1,{"id":44,"slug":45,"hasResults":11,"nctId":46,"briefTitle":47,"officialTitle":48,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":49,"healthyVolunteers":50,"sex":16,"minAge":18,"maxAge":51,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":54,"briefSummary":55,"conditions":56,"keywords":59,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":4},"100600111","epigenetic-optimization-through-biofrequency-nutrition-100600111","NCT07093242","Epigenetic Optimization Through Biofrequency Nutrition","Functional Epigenetic Optimization Through Biofrequency-Guided Nutrition: A Randomized Controlled Trial","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age between 18 and 65 years.\n* Active member of a registered athletics club.\n* Willingness to provide a hair sample for genetic analysis.\n* Ability to understand and sign the informed consent form.\n* Commitment to complete the nutritional follow-up (for the intervention group) and to respond to pre- and post-intervention questionnaires.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Prior medical diagnosis of a genetic disorder affecting nutritional metabolism.\n* Current use of nutritional supplements or special diets prescribed for medical reasons.\n* Participation in another clinical or nutritional study during the intervention period.\n* Pregnancy or breastfeeding at the time of enrollment.\n* Inability to attend baseline or post-intervention assessments.",true,"65 Years",{"count":53,"type":21},150,[24],"Biomarker-based nutrition has demonstrated superior efficacy compared to population-level approaches in improving health outcomes. Biofrequency analysis, a non-invasive technique based on the detection of electromagnetic vibrational patterns in hair follicles, offers a promising avenue for rapid functional assessment of nutritional status and epigenetic signals without reliance on blood or urine sampling. First, to evaluate the effect of a 90-day biofrequency-guided nutritional intervention on functional epigenetic status, as reflected in changes in the optimization report generated by the S-Drive system; second, to assess changes in adherence to the Mediterranean diet, anthropometric indicators, movement behaviors, and psychological well-being. Methods: In this randomized controlled trial, adults from a Sport Team from Region of Murcia (Spain) will be allocated to an experimental group receiving individualized lifestyle recommendations based on S-Drive biofrequency analysis and to a control group with no intervention. Participants in the experimental arm will apply tailored dietary guidance over 90 days. Conclusion: This study will generate foundational evidence on the utility of biofrequency technology for precision nutrition. If positive, the findings may inform scalable, low-risk strategies for personalized dietary interventions in preventive and community health settings.",[57,58,29],"Nutrition Habits","Biomarkers \u002F Hair",[60,61,62,63,64],"Biofrequency analysis","young athletes","nutritional intervention","nutritional biomarkers","mediterranean diet","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-07-22",{"date":68,"type":34},"2025-07-30",{"date":70,"type":21},"2025-10-01",{"date":72,"type":21},"2026-02-01",{"name":74,"class":41},"Universidad de Almeria",{"id":76,"slug":77,"hasResults":11,"nctId":78,"briefTitle":79,"officialTitle":80,"acronym":81,"eligibilityCriteria":82,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":83,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":85,"phases":4,"briefSummary":86,"conditions":87,"keywords":90,"overallStatus":30,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":95,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":96,"startDateStruct":98,"completionDateStruct":100,"leadSponsor":102,"locationsCount":42},"100588790","validation-of-a-mirna-panel-to-optimize-treatment-response-in-patients-with-metastatic-pancreatic-cancer-mirpanc-2-100588790","NCT06945978","Validation of a miRNA Panel to Optimize Treatment Response in Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer (mirPANC 2)","Validation of a miRNA Panel to Optimize Treatment Response in Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer","mirPANC 2","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients diagnosed with metastatic PDAC;\n* Patients who will start treatment with FOLFIRINOX;\n* 18 years or older;\n* Who agree to participate in the study by signing the Informed Consent Form;\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients who have previously undergone chemotherapy, whether neoadjuvant, adjuvant, or any prior first-line treatment;\n* Patients who do not meet the minimum criteria to receive the proposed regimen, such as those with hyperbilirubinemia, those who are not candidates due to age or performance status deterioration;",{"count":84,"type":21},60,"OBSERVATIONAL","This study is being conducted to better understand how pancreatic cancer behaves during treatment and how we can improve methods for monitoring disease progression.
