The main objective is to investigate whether EMDR is effective in treating high FCR in patients with familial melanoma. The study design is a non-blinded, randomized waiting-list controlled trial. Patients aged 18 years or older with familial melanoma can be included. Patients with high FCR will receive a maximum of 4, 90 minutes, EMDR-sessions. The main study parameter is the decrease and level of FCR measured with the Cancer Worry Scale (CWS). The secondary study parameter is quality of life, measured with the EORTC.",[26,27,28,29],"Familial Melanoma","Fear of Cancer Recurrence","Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing","Psychological Intervention",[31,27,26,28,32,33,34,35],"EMDR","Psychological intervention","Anxiety","Psycho-oncology","FCR","RECRUITING","2025-01-08",{"date":39,"type":40},"2025-01-09","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2023-11-01",{"date":44,"type":20},"2025-12-31",{"name":46,"class":47},"Leiden University Medical Center","OTHER",2]
