This selection ensures variation in geographic location and organizational context. The participants in this study are physiotherapists working in the participating nursing homes.\n\nThe main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* To what extent do the physiotherapy sessions align with the IAGG-GARN guidelines?\n* Are there differences in physiotherapy session content and volume according to physiotherapist characteristics and resident characteristics?\n* What barriers and facilitators do physiotherapists experience when implementing guideline-based practice in Flemish nursing homes?\n\nResearchers will observe physiotherapy sessions delivered as part of routine care and document session content and duration using structured observation diaries. Participating physiotherapists will also take part in focus groups discussing experiences with guideline implementation, barriers, facilitators, and clinical decision-making.",[25,26,27,28],"Guideline Implementation","Physiotherapy","Nursing Homes","Focus Group",[30,31,32,33,34,35,36],"Physical therapy","Older adults","Geriatrics","Long-term care","Guideline implementation","Focus groups","Clinical practice","RECRUITING","2026-05-04",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-05-08","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":41},"2026-03-23",{"date":45,"type":20},"2028-12-01",{"name":47,"class":48},"Hasselt University","OTHER",3,{"id":51,"slug":52,"hasResults":11,"nctId":53,"briefTitle":54,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":55,"eligibilityCriteria":56,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":57,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":58,"targetDuration":60,"studyType":22,"phases":4,"briefSummary":61,"conditions":62,"keywords":68,"overallStatus":37,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":74,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":75,"startDateStruct":77,"completionDateStruct":79,"leadSponsor":81,"locationsCount":5},"100608082","valvular-heart-disease-in-women-registry-100608082","NCT07196930","Valvular Heart Disease in Women Registry","VHD-W","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adult patients with diagnosis of any VHD according to the current ESC guidelines.\n* Admission to the VHD-W Registry collaborating center.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age less than 18 years old.\n* Inability to provide informed consent per local institutional and regulatory requirements.","18 Years",{"count":59,"type":20},800,"1 Year","Valvular heart disease (VHD) is a major global health issue. Untreated rheumatic heart disease persists in many regions, preventable with timely care. Higher-income countries face rising calcific valve disease from aging, worsened by VHD complications, like infective endocarditis, resulting in higher morbidity\u002Fmortality. Gender disparities in VHD remains understudied, despite inequalities in risks, diagnosis, and treatment. Prevalence varies by gender, but uneven diagnostics and therapies obscure realities.
