While Oral Health Related Quality of Life outcomes dominate current research, Health State Utility values are rarely measured and seldom applied . The few existing utility studies are methodologically limited. The primary aim is to measure Health state utility values for periodontal health states using direct elicitation methods ( Standard Gamble) in patients with clinically diagnosed periodontitis. The secondary aim is to examine associations between patient-elicited utility values, clinical periodontal status (CAL, PD, BoP), and psychosocial beliefs from the Health Belief Model including perceived susceptibility, severity, benefits, and barriers. Participants will complete utility tasks and Health belief model questionnaires in a single visit. By integrating preference-based utility measurement with clinical and psychosocial constructs, this study will provide essential data for cost-utility modelling of periodontal interventions and support patient-centered care.",[25,26,27],"Periodontitis","Dental Health Utility Value","Health Belief Model",[25,29,30,31],"Denatl health state utility value","oral health beliefs","health beliefs model","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-30",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-06-02","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":21},"2026-06-21",{"date":40,"type":21},"2026-12",{"name":42,"class":43},"Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences Rohtak","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":52,"sex":53,"minAge":17,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":57,"phases":58,"briefSummary":60,"conditions":61,"keywords":65,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":67,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":68,"startDateStruct":70,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":44},"100640834","hbm-based-intervention-on-cancer-screening-100640834","NCT07583693","HBM-Based Intervention on Cancer Screening","The Effect of Health Belief Model-Based Intervention on Women's Perceptions and Attitudes Toward Cancer Screening: A Quasi-Experimental Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Being female\n* Being between the ages of 30 and 70\n* Being able to communicate in Turkish\n* Not having undergone regular cancer screenings\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Having a previous diagnosis of any type of cancer\n* Being under medical follow-up for suspected cancer\n* Having cognitive impairment that prevents effective communication",true,"FEMALE","70 Years",{"count":56,"type":21},50,"INTERVENTIONAL",[59],"NA","The aim of this study is to examine the effect of an intervention-consisting of a Health Belief Model-based educational session on the importance of early diagnosis and cancer screening, along with SMS-supported reminders-on the perceptions and attitudes toward cancer screening among women aged 30-70 who do not undergo regular screenings.
