The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nCan HRVB reduce anxiety in patients awaiting heart transplantation in the ICU? Does HRVB help patients feel more in control of their emotions during this stressful time?\n\nParticipants will:\n\nComplete a brief anxiety assessment before and after the intervention Participate in a guided HRVB session using a breathing device or app Learn how to use the technique on their own for future stress management",[26,27],"Anxiety","Heart Transplant Patients",[29,30,26,31,32,33,34],"Heart Transplant Candidates","Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback","Breathing techniques","Behavioral Health in Transplant","Cardiac Anxiety","Biofeedback Therapy","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-03-24",{"date":38,"type":39},"2026-03-27","ACTUAL",{"date":41,"type":20},"2026-03",{"date":43,"type":20},"2027-12",{"name":45,"class":46},"Hartford HealthCare","OTHER",{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":51,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":4,"maxAge":53,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":56,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":62,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":63,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":64,"startDateStruct":66,"completionDateStruct":68,"leadSponsor":70,"locationsCount":72},"100576372","search-for-noninvasive-markers-of-graft-injury-in-pediatric-and-adult-patients-with-congenital-heart-disease-undergoing-cardiac-transplantation-100576372","NCT06784440","Search for Noninvasive Markers of \"Graft Injury\" in Pediatric and Adult Patients With Congenital Heart Disease Undergoing Cardiac Transplantation","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adult patients with congenital heart disease undergoing cardiac transplantation at our center or other centers, followed in follow-up at our center (Unit of Pediatric Cardiology and Developmental Age, IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna)\n* Pediatric patients undergoing cardiac transplantation at our center or other centers but followed in follow-up at our center\n* Obtaining informed consent from the adult patient or parent\u002Fguardian in case of minor\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Failure to obtain informed consent from the adult patient or parent\u002Fguardian in case of minor","44 Years",{"count":55,"type":20},20,[23],"This clinical tissue-based, drug-free, single-center, longitudinal study aims to validate a new diagnostic method, namely, to evaluate whether plasma levels of circulating donor free DNA in the recipient's blood (Dd-cfDNA: donor-derived cell free DNA), in patients undergoing orthotopic heart transplantation, can be predictive of the presence of acute myocardial rejection with the same sensitivity as immunohistochemical analysis on endomyocardial biopsy specimen, the current gold standard for the diagnosis of acute cell-mediated myocardial rejection, in a population consisting of pediatric patients and adult patients with congenital heart disease undergoing orthotopic heart transplantation.",[59,27,60,61],"Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)","Adult Congenital Heart Disease","Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease","RECRUITING","2025-01-14",{"date":65,"type":39},"2025-01-20",{"date":67,"type":39},"2023-03-08",{"date":69,"type":20},"2026-03-07",{"name":71,"class":46},"IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna",1]
