The main objective of this project is to examine the effect of Mindfulness-Based Emotion Regulation Training, which will be applied to children aged 7-11 hospitalized in the pediatric clinic, on developing children's emotion regulation skills and reducing their fear levels related to the hospital. The research is a randomized controlled trial to be conducted between April 2026 and April 2027. Data will be collected using the \"Child and Parent Introduction Form,\" the \"Emotion Regulation Scale for Children and Adolescents,\" and the \"Medical Procedure Fear Scale.\" While distraction techniques frequently used in the literature offer a quick and effective solution at the time of the procedure, this project differs in that it aims to provide children with sustainable emotion regulation skills that they can use not only at that moment but also in later stages of the illness and in future life events. As a result of the project, it is expected that the implemented training will increase adaptive emotion regulation strategies in children, significantly reduce medical fear and anxiety, and provide an evidence-based nursing intervention that will facilitate children's compliance with treatment.",[28,29,30],"Fear","Child, Only","Hospitalism in Children","RECRUITING","2026-01-23",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-01-30","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":35},"2025-12-26",{"date":39,"type":22},"2027-12-26",{"name":41,"class":42},"Ataturk University","OTHER",1,{"id":45,"slug":46,"hasResults":11,"nctId":47,"briefTitle":48,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":50,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":51,"maxAge":52,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":55,"briefSummary":56,"conditions":57,"keywords":61,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":43},"100580133","ivc-collapsibility-index-or-cvp-as-a-predictor-of-fluid-responsiveness-in-pediatric-sepsis-100580133","NCT06833333","IVC Collapsibility Index or CVP as a Predictor of Fluid Responsiveness in Pediatric Sepsis","Role of Inferior Vena Cava Collapsibility Index or Central Venous Pressure as a Predictor of Fluid Responsiveness in Pediatric Sepsis Due to Perforated Viscus: Prospective Randomized Double-blind Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Pediatric patients aged 1 to 5 years presented with septic shock due to perforated viscus according to definition of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and International Pediatric Sepsis Consensus.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Refusal of the parents to participate in the study\n* Obesity\n* Congenital heart diseases\n* Severe arrythmias\n* Patients developed moderate to severe ARDS\n* Massive ascites\n* Previous abdominal surgery\n* Previous cardiothoracic surgery","1 Year","5 Years",{"count":54,"type":22},50,[25],"Pediatric population who suffered from sepsis due to perforated viscus will receive fluid resuscitation guided by either central venous pressure or guided by IVC collapsibility index.\n\nThe method of guidance of fluid therapy will be applied pre, intra, and postoperatively.\n\nPrimary outcome will be the length of hospital stays, while the secondary outcomes will be the incidence of complications and the length of PICU stays",[58,59,60,30],"Sepsis","Septic Shock","Perforated Viscus",[62,63,64],"Pediatric","sepsis","Fluid therapy","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-05-02",{"date":68,"type":35},"2025-05-06",{"date":70,"type":22},"2025-09-15",{"date":72,"type":22},"2025-11-14",{"name":74,"class":42},"Tanta University"]
