Cervical cancer can often be prevented if it is found early. Many people who lack stable housing usually do not receive regular screenings.\n\nThrough this project, the investigators will bring screening to community locations in Tucson, Arizona, using a mobile health unit (MHU) from the University of Arizona (UA) and El Rio Health. At these sites, participants will receive easy-to-understand education about cervical cancer, learn how to collect their own sample for human papillomavirus (HPV) testing, and get follow-up care if needed.\n\nThe study has two goals:\n\n* First, the investigators will see if this community-based approach helps more people complete cervical cancer screening.\n* Second, the investigators will ask participants, clinicians, and outreach staff for their opinions about the program and its practicality and acceptability.\n\nBy testing this approach, the investigators hope to find a way to make cervical cancer screening more accessible and effective for unhoused individuals.",[29,30,31],"Uterine Cervical Neoplasms","HPV Testing","Pap Smear",[33,34,35,36,37,38],"Cervical cancer screening","HPV self-collection","HPV test","Mobile health unit","Unhoused individuals","Community outreach","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-27",{"date":42,"type":43},"2026-05-29","ACTUAL",{"date":45,"type":23},"2026-08-01",{"date":47,"type":23},"2027-05-31",{"name":49,"class":50},"University of Arizona","OTHER",1,{"id":53,"slug":54,"hasResults":11,"nctId":55,"briefTitle":56,"officialTitle":57,"acronym":58,"eligibilityCriteria":59,"healthyVolunteers":17,"sex":18,"minAge":60,"maxAge":20,"enrollmentInfo":61,"targetDuration":63,"studyType":64,"phases":4,"briefSummary":65,"conditions":66,"keywords":69,"overallStatus":72,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":73,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":74,"startDateStruct":76,"completionDateStruct":78,"leadSponsor":80,"locationsCount":51},"100495134","screening-triage-and-risk-stratification-100495134","NCT05727228","Screening Triage and Risk Stratification","Improving Screening Triage in Older Postmenopausal HPV-screen-positive Women Aged 50-64 and Risk-stratification of Women Aged 23-64 After Excision","I-share","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* HPV-screen-positive (aged 50-64)\n* Women who undergo test-of-cure (i.e. HPV and cytology) six months after LEEP in Central Denmark Region (aged 23-64)\n* Women who undergo follow-up test (i.e. HPV and cytology) 12 months after LEEP\n* A valid cytology-triage result (aged 23-64)\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Listed in the registry as a person who have rejected to participate in research\n* Invalid cytology and HPV result six months after LEEP\n* No residual material available","23 Years",{"count":62,"type":23},5000,"5 Years","OBSERVATIONAL","* To investigate the performance of cytology, extended genotyping, p16\u002FKi67 dual stain cytology, DNA methylation and viral load as triage markers in post-menopausal HPV-screen-positive women aged 50-64 years in the organized screening program to predict the risk of developing CIN2+.
