The primary outcome is the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score within the first 24 hours after surgery. Secondary outcomes include total opioid consumption, requirement for rescue analgesia, block-related complications and adverse effects (hematoma, local anesthetic systemic complications, vascular puncture, and infection), patient satisfaction assessed using a Likert scale, quality of recovery assessed using the QoR-15 questionnaire, and incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting.",[27,28,29,30,31],"Transversalis Fascia Plane Block","Mtapa Block","Regional Anaesthesia","Postoperative Pain","Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair",[33,34,35,36],"TFPB","M-TAPA","İNGUİNAL HERNİA","TRANSVERSALİS FASCİA PLANE BLOCK","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-26",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-06-01","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":21},"2026-11-30",{"date":45,"type":21},"2027-07-30",{"name":47,"class":48},"Antalya City Hospital","OTHER",{"id":50,"slug":51,"hasResults":11,"nctId":52,"briefTitle":53,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":33,"eligibilityCriteria":55,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":18,"enrollmentInfo":56,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":57,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":61,"overallStatus":63,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":64,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":65,"startDateStruct":67,"completionDateStruct":69,"leadSponsor":71,"locationsCount":73},"100575926","transversalis-fascia-plane-block-for-laparoscopic-inguinal-hernia-repair-100575926","NCT06778629","Transversalis Fascia Plane Block for Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair","Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Transversalis Fascia Plane Block in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I- II Patients\n* Unilateral Inguinal Hernia Repair Surgery\n* Elective Operations\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with a history of chronic pain\n* Evidence of infection in the intervention area\n* Allergy to local anesthetics\n* Coagulopathy\n* Body-mass index (BMI) ≥ 30\n* Body weight ≤ 50 kg\n* Patients who do not agree to participate in the study",{"count":20,"type":21},[24],"Transversalis Fascia Plane Block (TFPB) is a trunk block that blocks the T12- L2 spinal nerves by injection of local anesthetic between the transversus abdominis muscle and transversalis fascia on the lateral abdominal wall.
