Many patients struggle with self-care, including medication adherence, diet, and symptom monitoring.\n\nThe REMIND HF (REmote Motivational INterviewing for Disease Management in Heart Failure) study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of remote motivational interviewing (MI) as a behavioral intervention to improve disease management and self-care among heart failure patients and their informal caregivers. The intervention consists of a series of online motivational interviews conducted by trained nurses over a 12-month period, focusing on lifestyle modification, self-monitoring, and patient-caregiver cooperation.\n\nThe study will be conducted at the Wroclaw Medical University and collaborating centers. It will enroll 300 patients with heart failure (The New York Heart Association Functional Classificaion - NYHA class: II-IV) and their primary caregivers. Outcomes will include self-care behaviors, quality of life, psychological well-being, and health service utilization. The results will contribute to developing accessible, patient-centered models of heart failure management based on telehealth and behavioral support.",[62,63,64,27],"Heart Failure (HF)","Self Care","Caregiver",[66,67,68,69,70,71],"heart failure","Self-Care","Motivational Interviewing","caregivers","telehealth","nursing","2026-02-11",{"date":74,"type":39},"2026-02-17",{"date":76,"type":21},"2026-02-28",{"date":78,"type":21},"2028-01-30",{"name":80,"class":46},"Wroclaw Medical University",{"id":82,"slug":83,"hasResults":11,"nctId":84,"briefTitle":85,"officialTitle":86,"acronym":87,"eligibilityCriteria":88,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":89,"maxAge":90,"enrollmentInfo":91,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":93,"briefSummary":94,"conditions":95,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":35,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":99,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":100,"startDateStruct":102,"completionDateStruct":104,"leadSponsor":106,"locationsCount":47},"100609257","health-promotion-model-based-education-and-motivational-interviewing-for-parents-of-children-with-type-1-diabetes-100609257","NCT07212218","Health Promotion Model-Based Education and Motivational Interviewing for Parents of Children With Type 1 Diabetes","THE EFFECT OF HEALTH PROMOTION MODEL-BASED EDUCATION AND MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWS GIVEN TO PARENTS OF CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES ON DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY OF LIFE","HPM-T1D-MI","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n\\- Children aged 8-12 years with type 1 diabetes diagnosed for ≥ 1 year HbA1c ≥ 7% Using insulin pen for treatment Able to read and write Living in Istanbul No intellectual disability No other chronic disease Parent able to communicate by phone and use social media apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Zoom) Both child and parent willing to participate\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* sychiatric disorder diagnosis Type 1 diabetes diagnosis \\\u003C 1 year Using insulin pump or other treatment methods Having another type of diabetes Not in the 8-12 age range Illiteracy (child or parent) Presence of another chronic disease Parent unable to use phone or social media apps Child and\u002For parent unwilling to participate","8 Years","12 Years",{"count":92,"type":21},42,[24],"This quasi-experimental study will aim to evaluate the effects of Health Promotion Model-based education and motivational interviewing on diabetes self-management and quality of life among parents of children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
