Both term and preterm neonates.\n2. APGAR scores of a minimum of 6 at one minute and 8 at 5 minutes\n3. Admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit\n4. Undergoing arterial prick for the first time.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n1. Documented birth asphyxia\n2. Congenital anomalies\n3. Neurological diagnosis,\n4. ventilated with paralysis\n5.
