Surface electromyography (sEMG) will be used to evaluate activation patterns of the orbicularis oris, submental, and hyoid muscles during liquid, semi-solid, and solid intake.\n\nThe study seeks to characterize the timing, duration, amplitude, and coordination of swallowing-related muscle activity in typically developing children. Findings from this study are expected to provide foundational physiological data to inform the development of pediatric-specific neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) protocols for dysphagia treatment.",[26,27,28],"Normal Pediatric Swallowing Physiology","Swallowing Muscle Activation Patterns in Children","Swallowing Function",[30,31,32,33,34,35,36],"Pediatric Swallowing","Swallowing Physiology","Surface Electromyography","Swallowing Muscle Activation","Normative Data","Deglutition","Developmental Physiology","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-03-02",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-03-06","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":21},"2026-03-09",{"date":45,"type":21},"2028-01-31",{"name":47,"class":48},"Seoul National University Bundang Hospital","OTHER"]
