Several parametes make difference of effect on the occurrence of PICM and its subsequent clinical outcomes. In particular, recognition of a major determinant focused on the ECG or echocardiographic parameters including strain or genetic factor for occurrence of PICM may lead to better identification of patients at high risk. Investigators prospectively enroll a participant with documented high risk of PICM and clinically follow-up to idenify clinical impact of PICM (PICM syndrome) over a long period of time.",[25],"Pacemaker Complication","RECRUITING","2025-09-28
2025-10-02","ACTUAL
2018-01-30
2028-02-28
Eulji University Hospital","OTHER
"100550592","the-picm-risk-prediction-study---application-of-ai-to-pacing-100550592","NCT06449079","The PICM Risk Prediction Study - Application of AI to Pacing","Predictive Risk Algorithm for Development of Right Ventricular Pacing Induced Cardiomyopathy - a Step Towards Personalized Pacemaker Lead Deployment","Inclusion Criteria:

* All patients who received a pacing device (VVI, DDD, ICD, leadless pacemaker) from the GSTT/RBH/KCH/ICH database in the last 10 years (from 01/01/2014)
* All patients who are \\>18 years old.
* Male and Female

Exclusion Criteria:

* Patients who did not receive a pacing device (VVI, DDD, ICD, leadless pacemaker)
* All patients <18 years old
* Patients with congenital heart disease
* Patients who have received artificial heart valves or underwent cardiac bypass surgery
* Patients who did not have an echocardiogram after receiving a pacing device","18 Years
10000,"Development of pacing induced cardiomyopathy (PICM) is correlated to a high morbidity as signified by an increase in heart failure admissions and mortality.
