Three times daily, participants are automatically randomized to receive one of three reminder messages prior to each habitual mealtime. The main research questions the trial aims to answer are:\n\n* Do loss-framed reminders (emphasizing loss of a daily financial reward for not logging) increase meal logging adherence in the two hours following a reminder, compared to a neutral reminder?\n* Do logging consistency reminders (providing feedback on recent logging streaks) increase meal logging adherence in the two hours following a reminder, compared to a neutral reminder?\n* Do the effects of loss-framed and logging consistency reminders differ from each other?\n\nPrimary aim: To estimate the proximal effect of each reminder type on whether a participant logs a meal within two hours of receiving a reminder.\n\nSecondary aim: To examine whether within-person physiological patterns (e.g., heart rate variation) moderate response to reminders, with the goal of identifying physiological markers of receptivity to behavioral prompts.\n\nThe trial aims to enroll 200 adults aged 45 and older. Participants attend a baseline visit for onboarding, consent, and device setup, followed by a 28 day remote intervention period during which they should photograph their meals three times daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and wear a smartwatch and smart ring continuously. Prior to each mealtime, they receive an automatically randomized reminder message. Participants earn a daily financial reward contingent on completing meal logging for that day.\n\nNote: This trial was registered retrospectively as enrollment began prior to registration. However, there is still a possibility of developing local recurrence or metachronous neoplasia after ESD. Regular endoscopic surveillance after ESD can identify and remove local recurrences and metachronous lesions early, improving patient prognosis. However, the patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance is currently unclear, and many patients fail to adhere to the scheduled follow-up. A prospective, randomized controlled, superiority trial was designed to evaluate whether completing a questionnaire and receiving feedback on compliance-related education can improve patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, in comparison to those who did not complete the compliance-related education questionnaire. Additionally, the investigators intend to investigate the factors that influence patient compliance.\n\nThis study will consist of two parts.\n\nPart 1 will assess whether the completion of questionnaire and feedback on compliance-related education can improve short-term patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, and investigate factors influencing short-term patient compliance.\n\nPart 2 will assess whether the completion of questionnaire and feedback on compliance-related education can improve long-term patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, and investigate factors influencing patient compliance.",[26],[117,118,119,120],"compliance","endoscopic submucosal dissection","surveillance","post-ESD","2025-04-03",{"date":123,"type":36},"2025-04-08",{"date":125,"type":36},"2023-10-01",{"date":127,"type":20},"2029-12",{"name":129,"class":43},"Xijing Hospital of Digestive Diseases",{"id":131,"slug":132,"hasResults":11,"nctId":133,"briefTitle":134,"officialTitle":135,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":136,"healthyVolunteers":15,"sex":16,"minAge":137,"maxAge":138,"enrollmentInfo":139,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":83,"phases":4,"briefSummary":141,"conditions":142,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":148,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":149,"startDateStruct":151,"completionDateStruct":153,"leadSponsor":155,"locationsCount":44},"100521970","pain-clinic-provides-public-health-safety-100521970","NCT06076512","Pain Clinic Provides Public Health Safety","Pain Clinic Provides Public Health and Safety Services","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* adult chronic pain patients\n* patients with psychosocial problems\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* pediatric patients\n* patients with severe cognitive dysfunction","20 Years","99 Years",{"count":140,"type":20},1000,"Chronic pain is associated with psychological disorders; which may affect a patient's socioeconomic, legal, domestic, and employment situations.
