Anxiety is a common challenge in fertility treatments, often leading to emotional distress and increased pain perception. By incorporating a non-invasive VR intervention, the investigators seek to improve patient experience, minimize preoperative anxiety, and potentially reduce postoperative discomfort and recovery times. This randomized controlled trial (RCT) will compare standard care with a VR intervention in a clinical setting, measuring key outcomes such as anxiety levels, pain perception, recovery duration, and overall patient satisfaction. The findings may contribute to more patient centered fertility care, offering an innovative, scalable, and cost-effective approach to anxiety management in reproductive medicine.",[27,28],"Virtual Reality","Patient Experience",[30,31,32,33,34],"anxiety","stress","pain perception","recovery duration","virtual reality","RECRUITING","2026-06-22",{"date":38,"type":39},"2026-06-25","ACTUAL",{"date":41,"type":39},"2025-07-10",{"date":43,"type":21},"2026-12-31",{"name":45,"class":46},"ART Fertility Clinics LLC","OTHER",1,{"id":49,"slug":50,"hasResults":11,"nctId":51,"briefTitle":52,"officialTitle":53,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":54,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":57,"phases":4,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":62,"overallStatus":35,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":68,"completionDateStruct":70,"leadSponsor":72,"locationsCount":47},"100589551","patient-experience-of-transoral-versus-transnasal-awake-tracheal-intubation-100589551","NCT06955884","Patient Experience of Transoral Versus Transnasal Awake Tracheal Intubation","Patient Experience of Transoral Versus Transnasal Awake Tracheal Intubation With Flexible Bronchoscopy - an Observational Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* patients scheduled for surgery requiring tracheal intubation\n* patients with an anticipated difficult airway requiring ATI:FB\n* consent by the patient\n* minimum 18 years of age\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* patients scheduled for surgery requiring tracheal intubation\n* patients not scheduled for ATI:FB\n* pregnant or breastfeeding patients\n* consent withheld or not possible to obtain by the patient",{"count":56,"type":21},198,"OBSERVATIONAL","Airway management problems are key drivers for anesthesia-related adverse events. Awake tracheal intubation using flexible bronchoscopy and preserved spontaneous breathing (ATI:FB) is a recommended technique to manage difficult tracheal intubation in anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine. ATI:FB is regarded as the gold standard of tracheal intubation in many scenarios, however there is insufficient data on the patients experience while undergoing this form of airway management. ATI:FB can be facilitated using either a transnasal or transoral route. Some are related to the technique : type of electrodes, intensity of stimulation, stimulation site ; others are related to the patient : poor state of relaxation of the patient generating muscle artefacts; hypersensitivity of the patient to electrical stimuli making the examination unpleasant; examination time considered too long. However, the patient's relaxed state is essential to the quality of the signal . Thus the duration of an examination is very variable : between 30 and 75 minutes for the upper limbs.... For several months, the investigators provide relaxation to some patients just before the examination. Results seem to be positive. The investigators aim to study the effect of relaxation session on the quality of the SSEP recordings. Fifteen-minutes relaxation session will be provided by a nurse trained to the relaxation.\n\nThe investigators will compare two groups : one group with one relaxation session before the examination and one group without relaxation session before the examination.\n\nThe investigators chose to study the influence of relaxation session on (i) the artifacts rejection rate by the machine for the recordings of SSEP by stimulation of the median nerve to the upper limbs (ii) the duration of the examination (iii) the patient experience",[88,89,28],"Relaxation","Somatosensory Evoked Potentials",[88,89,91],"Patient experience","2025-06-03",{"date":94,"type":39},"2025-06-04",{"date":96,"type":39},"2022-09-15",{"date":98,"type":21},"2025-07",{"name":100,"class":46},"Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, Amiens",{"id":102,"slug":103,"hasResults":11,"nctId":104,"briefTitle":105,"officialTitle":106,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":107,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":108,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":57,"phases":4,"briefSummary":110,"conditions":111,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":115,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":116,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":117,"startDateStruct":119,"completionDateStruct":121,"leadSponsor":123,"locationsCount":4},"100567851","a-clinical-study-collecting-patients-experience-during-dental-implant-treatment-100567851","NCT06673563","A Clinical Study Collecting Patients' Experience During Dental Implant Treatment","Development and Evaluation of a Patient-reported Experience Measure (PREM) in Implant Dentistry: an Exploratory Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Subject signed informed consent\n* Subject is at least 18 years old at the time of treatment\n* Subject presented with the need of dental implant treatment for single tooth, multiple teeth, or full-arch rehabilitation\n* Subject with medical and anatomical conditions that are in accordance with the applicable instructions for use (IFU)\n* Subject agree to provide information on her\u002Fhis experience and outcomes before, during and after the treatment\n* Subject has a working e-mail address\n* Subject has sufficient English language skills for answering the PREM questionnaires\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Anatomical conditions discovered during surgery preventing the use of intended implant system\n* Subject with history of allergy or adverse reactions to any materials used\n* Uncontrolled unstable systemic disease\n* Any ongoing application of medication that is interfering with the dental treatment\n* Subject is not willing \u002F unable to complete the PREM questionnaires\n* Subject that is planning not to return to the investigational site for follow-up visits within study schedule\n* Pregnant or lactating women at the time of implant insertion",{"count":109,"type":21},99,"The study will gather data on patient reported experience (PREM) before, during and after dental implant treatment.
