There are evidences indicating that children with epilepsy have executive dysfunctions and language problems. Executive functions refer to multiple cognitive processes that contribute to human higher order abilities, such as purposeful and future-orientated behavior. Moreover, the literature regarding development of non epileptic children, with ordinary development indicates that executive functions and language are linked to the emergence of social cognition. Then, the investigators asked if children with epilepsy, as they commonly present executive dysfunctions, would show an atypical development of social cognition. Children with epilepsy and a control group of healthy volunteers will be compared to identify relationships between executive functions, language and social cognition.",[29],"Pediatric Epilepsy","RECRUITING","2025-09-19",{"date":33,"type":34},"2025-09-22","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":34},"2020-02-02",{"date":38,"type":23},"2027-01-19",{"name":40,"class":41},"CHU de Reims","OTHER",1,{"id":44,"slug":45,"hasResults":11,"nctId":46,"briefTitle":47,"officialTitle":47,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":48,"healthyVolunteers":17,"sex":18,"minAge":4,"maxAge":49,"enrollmentInfo":50,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":52,"phases":4,"briefSummary":53,"conditions":54,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":55,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":56,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":57,"startDateStruct":59,"completionDateStruct":61,"leadSponsor":63,"locationsCount":4},"100586675","a-clinical-trial-with-a-self-controlled-multicenter-pediatric-eeg-intelligent-analysis-system-to-assist-in-diagnosis-100586675","NCT06918457","A Clinical Trial With a Self-controlled, Multicenter, Pediatric EEG Intelligent Analysis System to Assist in Diagnosis","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age \\\u003C 18 years old\n* Children with suspected epilepsy\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* During EEG monitoring, the patients had other serious neurological diseases and mental diseases concurrently\n* Used medication that affect EEG data within 3 weeks, such as sedatives and anti-epileptic medications\n* Substandard data quality, such as data lack of key records, electrode connection discontinuity, insufficient recording time, or the presence of serious artifacts\n* Incomplete or missing data\n* Equipment or operational abnormalities, data for which EEG monitoring has not been performed continuously","18 Years",{"count":51,"type":23},1000,"OBSERVATIONAL","A diagnostic accuracy study on Artificial intelligence EEG analysis system assisted doctors to diagnose pediatric epilepsy.",[29],"NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-04-06",{"date":58,"type":34},"2025-04-09",{"date":60,"type":23},"2025-06-03",{"date":62,"type":23},"2026-07-01",{"name":64,"class":41},"Kunming Children's Hospital"]
