A total of 36 healthy male adolescent basketball players aged 10-18 years will be included in the study and divided into two groups using stratified randomization: a flywheel exercise group (n=18) and a traditional strength training group (n=18).\n\nAthletic skills will be assessed using the Johnson Basketball Skill Tests (passing test, dribbling test, shooting test), the Basketball Shooting Accuracy Test, and the Functional Shooting Performance Index (FAPI). Upper extremity muscle oxygenation will be measured using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) with a Moxy muscle oxygen meter. Physical fatigue level will be determined using the Modified Borg Scale. Upper extremity muscle strength will be assessed using a Kinvent hand dynamometer and the Seated Single Arm Ball Throw Test. The flywheel group will undergo eccentric weight flywheel exercises three times a week for eight weeks. The traditional strength training group will follow a strength training program using dumbbells for the same duration and frequency. All assessments will be conducted before and after the training program.",[29],"Physical Fatigue",[31,32,33,34,35,36],"Muscle oxygenation","Upper extremity","Physical fatigue","Flywheel training","Adolescent basketball players","Athletic performance","RECRUITING","2026-01-11",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-01-13","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":41},"2025-11-21",{"date":45,"type":23},"2026-03-31",{"name":47,"class":48},"Istinye University","OTHER",1,{"id":51,"slug":52,"hasResults":11,"nctId":53,"briefTitle":54,"officialTitle":55,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":56,"healthyVolunteers":17,"sex":57,"minAge":58,"maxAge":59,"enrollmentInfo":60,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":24,"phases":62,"briefSummary":63,"conditions":64,"keywords":81,"overallStatus":37,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":91,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":92,"startDateStruct":94,"completionDateStruct":96,"leadSponsor":98,"locationsCount":49},"100617476","evaluation-of-the-impact-of-a-nutritional-formulation-on-cognitive-performance-following-stress-exposure-100617476","NCT07319117","Evaluation of the Impact of a Nutritional Formulation on Cognitive Performance Following Stress Exposure.","A Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Randomised, Acute, Repeated Measures Cross-over Study to Evaluate the Impact of Skoshify 'Think Tank' Nutritional Formulation on Cognitive Performance Following Stress Exposure.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. Adopting a double-blind repeated measures cross-over design, middle-aged females (40-60 years) will be recruited to take part in a two-stage research study that will examine whether the formulation enhances cognitive performance and subjective well-being following the challenge of a stressor, compared to placebo. Cognitive assessments will examine the impact of the nutritional formulation on working memory, sustained attention, cognitive flexibility and inhibitory control. The study will also assess physiological (heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol) and subjective (well-being, anxiety, positive and negative mood, stress) markers of stress reactivity. The study will also explore levels sleep quality, mental and physical fatigue, effort, productivity, and perceived impact of the intervention.",[65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,29,79,80],"Cognitive Assessment","Working Memory","Executive Function (Cognition)","Sustained Attention","Inhibitory Control","Cognitive Flexibility","Cortisol","Stress","Anxiety","Depression","Sleep Quality","Blood Pressure","Heart Rate","Mental Fatigue","Productivity","Effort",[82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90],"Cognitive Performance","Stress Response","Creatine","Magnesium","L-Tyrosine","L-Theanine","Rhodiola","Phosphatidylserine","Citicoline","2025-12-19",{"date":93,"type":41},"2026-01-06",{"date":95,"type":23},"2025-12-15",{"date":97,"type":23},"2026-08-31",{"name":99,"class":48},"Leeds Beckett University"]
