However, the impact of these conditions on a patient's personal life, intimacy, and body image-often referred to as \"hidden morbidity\"-is frequently overlooked in clinical practice.\n\nThe purpose of this prospective observational study is to evaluate the psychosexual burden in patients suffering from chronic perianal disease. Using validated tools (IIEF-5 for men, FSFI-6 for women) and a specialized Supplemental Patient-Reported Outcome Measure (PROM), researchers will investigate how the presence of surgical devices (such as setons), disease etiology, and clinical symptoms affect sexual function and self-esteem.\n\nThe study also aims to identify gaps in physician-patient communication regarding sexual health. By quantifying these impacts, the study seeks to promote a more holistic, patient-centered approach to the surgical management of perianal conditions.",[26,27,28,29,30,31],"Perianal Crohn Disease","Perianal Fistula","Fistula in Ano","Perianal Abscess","Pilonidal Cyst\u002FFistula","Anal Fissure and Fistula",[33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40],"fistula in ano","perianal fistula","perianal Crohn's disease","anal fissure","psychosexual life","sex life","intimacy","fistula","RECRUITING","2026-04-02",{"date":44,"type":45},"2026-04-09","ACTUAL",{"date":47,"type":21},"2026-03-31",{"date":49,"type":21},"2026-06-20",{"name":51,"class":52},"AHEPA University Hospital","OTHER",1,{"id":55,"slug":56,"hasResults":11,"nctId":57,"briefTitle":58,"officialTitle":58,"acronym":59,"eligibilityCriteria":60,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":61,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":4,"briefSummary":63,"conditions":64,"keywords":65,"overallStatus":41,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":67,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":68,"startDateStruct":70,"completionDateStruct":72,"leadSponsor":74,"locationsCount":53},"100613665","evaluation-of-the-healing-of-the-pilonidal-cyst-after-1940-nm-laser-treatment-100613665","NCT07269548","Evaluation of the Healing of the Pilonidal Cyst After 1940 nm Laser Treatment","PILOLAS 1940","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients who did not object to the collection of their data\n* Patients who underwent surgery for a pilonidal cyst using 1940 nm laser treatment\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with a history of pilonidal cyst surgery\n\n * Patients who underwent emergency surgery for an abscess\n * Patients already included in another therapeutic study protocol",{"count":62,"type":21},30,"The aim of this study is to evaluate the extent to which the reduction of energy absorption that laser 1940 nm allows could improve the outcomes and postoperative results of the treatment of pilonidal cysts.",[30],[66],"healing, Pilonidal Cyst","2025-11-25",{"date":69,"type":45},"2025-12-08",{"date":71,"type":45},"2025-10-03",{"date":73,"type":21},"2026-06-30",{"name":75,"class":52},"GCS Ramsay Santé pour l'Enseignement et la Recherche"]
