In order to objectively assess the outcomes of these procedures, evaluation methods are typically used, primarily considering pain symptoms, residual functionality, the correction of any deformities achieved, and radiographic parameters. Conversely, assessments of plantar pressures, as a potential indicator of functional and biomechanical recovery, are still not widely utilized. Biomechanical functional assessments examine specific variables, including gait analysis, stabilometry, kinematics and kinetics of joint movements, and the activation and strength of particular muscle groups. These assessments can be conducted by specialized personnel using dedicated equipment such as a baropodometric platform and inertial sensors.\n\nThis study aims to, for the first time in the literature, present the results related to plantar pressures from different surgical treatments of the foot and ankle",[26],"Plantar Pressure",[28,29,30,31],"foot","ankle","Post-operative","plantar pressure","RECRUITING","2025-07-17",{"date":35,"type":36},"2025-07-18","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":36},"2021-07-10",{"date":40,"type":20},"2026-05-31",{"name":42,"class":43},"Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":50,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":52,"sex":15,"minAge":16,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":55,"briefSummary":56,"conditions":57,"keywords":63,"overallStatus":73,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":74,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":75,"startDateStruct":77,"completionDateStruct":79,"leadSponsor":81,"locationsCount":44},"100596283","comparison-of-the-immediate-effects-of-mobilization-and-manipulation-versus-sham-manipulation-on-plantar-pressure-in-patients-with-hallux-valgus-100596283","NCT07043439","Comparison of the Immediate Effects of Mobilization and Manipulation Versus Sham Manipulation on Plantar Pressure in Patients With Hallux Valgus","HALLPRESS","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Be over 18 years of age\n* Volunteer to participate in the study\n* Have hallux valgus (those with a hallux valgus angle greater than 15 and a Manchester Scale score of B or higher)\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Having undergone surgery on the foot or ankle area within the last 6 months\n* Having any neurological or psychiatric problems",true,{"count":54,"type":20},60,[23],"The aim of this study is to examine the immediate effects of mobilization and manipulation versus sham manipulation on plantar pressure, quality of life, and pain in patients with hallux valgus.
