Early prediction of hypotension may allow timely interventions and improve patient safety.\n\nThis prospective observational study aims to evaluate the predictive value of preoperative ultrasound-based inferior vena cava collapsibility index (IVC-CI) and femoral vein collapsibility index (FVCI) for post-spinal hypotension in patients undergoing elective TUR-P under spinal anesthesia. Before spinal anesthesia, IVC and femoral vein measurements will be obtained using ultrasonography. Hemodynamic parameters will be recorded before and after spinal anesthesia, and the occurrence of hypotension will be assessed according to predefined criteria.\n\nThe study seeks to compare the diagnostic performance of IVC-CI and FVCI in predicting post-spinal hypotension and to identify potential clinical predictors associated with hypotension in this patient population.",[25,26],"Post Spinal Anaesthesia Hypotension","Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP)",[28,29,30,31,32],"Spinal Anesthesia","Post-Spinal Hypotension","Ultrasonography","Inferior Vena Cava Collapsibility Index","Femoral Vein Collapsibility Index","RECRUITING","2026-03-23",{"date":36,"type":37},"2026-03-27","ACTUAL",{"date":39,"type":37},"2026-01-01",{"date":41,"type":21},"2026-05-30",{"name":43,"class":44},"Antalya Training and Research Hospital","OTHER_GOV",1,{"id":47,"slug":48,"hasResults":11,"nctId":49,"briefTitle":50,"officialTitle":51,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":53,"sex":54,"minAge":55,"maxAge":56,"enrollmentInfo":57,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":59,"phases":60,"briefSummary":62,"conditions":63,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":33,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":45},"100579064","phase-4-effect-of-dexamethasone-on-post-spinal-hypotension-100579064","NCT06819436","Effect of Dexamethasone on Post-spinal Hypotension","Effect of Dexamethasone on Post-spinal Hypotension in Geriatric Patients Undergoing Orthopaedic Surgery at Tertiary Care Hospital Karachi.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\nPatient undergoing orthopedic surgery in spinal anesthesia.
