The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Which strategy is more effective for reducing the incidence rate of active TB?\n* Which strategy is more effective for reducing the TB infection rate?\n* Are these strategies safe, feasible, and cost-effective in prison settings?\n\nResearchers will compare three cluster-based, non-randomized programmatic strategies implemented in three prisons. These strategies differ in the frequency of screening, the diagnostic methods used, and the approach to tuberculosis preventive therapy (TPT).\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* undergo informed consent and clinical evaluation\n* receive TB screening through symptom assessment, chest digital X-ray with CAD, and rapid molecular testing, depending on site strategy\n* undergo IGRA testing and preventive therapy assessment, depending on the assigned strategy\n* be followed for 18 months, with screening rounds every 6 months or annually depending on the prison",[28,29,30,31],"Tuberculosis (TB)","TB Infection","Prisoners","Epidemiology","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-04-08",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-04-14","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":22},"2026-08-01",{"date":40,"type":22},"2028-12-31",{"name":42,"class":43},"Universidad Nacional de Caaguazu","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":51,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":53,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":56,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":63,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":64,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":65,"startDateStruct":67,"completionDateStruct":69,"leadSponsor":71,"locationsCount":44},"100577183","calls-and-coordination-for-transitions-of-care-at-re-entry-100577183","NCT06794983","Calls and Coordination for Transitions of Care at Re-entry","Health Systems Innovations for Supporting Transitions of Care for Incarcerated People Living With Substance Use Disorders","Call2Care","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* age 18 or older\n* eligibility for WI Medicaid and intention to enroll before release\n* substance use history (i.e., \"have you ever considered your alcohol or drug use to be a problem?\"), and\n* living with, or history of, a chronic medical or psychiatric condition other than substance use disorder.
