In France, approximately 5% of adults are affected by PG. Workers with atypical schedules or periods of inactivity at work are at risk of developing problematic gambling behavior. Stress, burnout, and boredom at work can exacerbate these risks. Working atypical hours, such as night shifts, is linked to mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, which may increase the risk of PG. However, there is a lack of research on the impact of atypical schedules and periods of inactivity on PG. This research will explore the association between work schedules, periods of inactivity, and PG, particularly among workers who may be influenced by gambling norms and the specific characteristics of their jobs.",[26,27],"Problem Gambling","Addiction Gambling",[29,30,31,32,33],"Gambling","Impulsivity","Boredom","Addiction behavior","Shift work schedule","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-17",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-06-18","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":22},"2026-07-01",{"date":42,"type":22},"2026-12-01",{"name":44,"class":45},"Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nīmes","OTHER",1,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":53,"eligibilityCriteria":54,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":18,"minAge":19,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":57,"phases":58,"briefSummary":60,"conditions":61,"keywords":62,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":5},"100590170","change-4-better-c4b-100590170","NCT06963931","Change 4 Better (C4B)","Change 4 Better (C4B): A Smartphone App to Address Problem Gambling","C4B","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. 18 years of age or older;\n2. able to speak, read and write in English;\n3. report gambling in the past 2 months (60 days);\n4. meet DSM-5 criteria for gambling disorder within past 12 months as determined by the Structured Clinical Interview for Pathological Gambling - DSM-5 version (SCI-PG-DSM);\n5. at least mild gambling severity as measured by GSAS (Total \\>8)\n6. seeking or currently enrolled in treatment for gambling;
