The main questions it seeks to answer are:\n\n1. How do new mothers fare with depressive symptoms and alcohol use in the first 12 months after giving birth?\n2. Will a CM-PST intervention reduce depressive symptoms and alcohol use frequency among new mothers?\n3. Is a CM-PST intervention practical for new mothers?\n\nThe researchers will recruit approximately 30 new mothers and randomly select half to attend a 6-week CM-PST intervention. They will compare those who received the intervention versus those who did not to see if there are any differences in their depressive symptoms and alcohol usage.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Complete 4 remote intervention sessions over 6 weeks\n* Conduct at-home urine drug tests 2x per week during the 6-week intervention\n* Answer online surveys about their mental health and alcohol use",[27,28,29,30],"Postpartum Depression (PPD)","Alcohol Use","Contingency Management","Problem Solving Therapy","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-05",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-05-11","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":21},"2026-06-01",{"date":39,"type":21},"2027-11-30",{"name":41,"class":42},"University of Illinois at Chicago","OTHER"]
