It is conducted in rural and urban communities across Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan, India. The sub-study evaluates the impact of a couples-based financial literacy and gender-transformative intervention on relationship strength, empathy, and mental health among married couples. Using a two-arm cluster RCT design, 150 clusters (villages or community units) are randomized to intervention or control, with \\~15 husband-wife pairs per cluster (approximately 2,250 couples in total). Outcomes are measured at baseline (pre-intervention) and endline (post-intervention) approximately six months after delivery of the intervention to assess changes in perceived relationship strength, empathy (using an adapted relationship strengths and empathy scale), and mental health (General Health Questionnaire-6, GHQ-6). The study will also explore whether improvements in relationship strength and empathy mediate the intervention's effect on mental health outcomes.",[27,28,29],"Mental Health","Empathy","Relation, Interpersonal",[31,32,33,34,28,27,35,36,37,38,39,40],"Couples Intervention","Economic Empowerment","Gender Transformation","Relationship Strength","GHQ-6","Cluster RCT","India","Family Economic Wellbeing","Marital Relationship Strength","Couple-based Empathy","RECRUITING","2025-09-22",{"date":44,"type":45},"2025-09-24","ACTUAL",{"date":47,"type":45},"2025-07-29",{"date":49,"type":21},"2027-06",{"name":51,"class":52},"Technical University of Munich","OTHER",{"id":54,"slug":55,"hasResults":11,"nctId":56,"briefTitle":57,"officialTitle":58,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":59,"healthyVolunteers":16,"sex":60,"minAge":18,"maxAge":61,"enrollmentInfo":62,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":64,"briefSummary":65,"conditions":66,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":69,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":70,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":71,"startDateStruct":73,"completionDateStruct":75,"leadSponsor":77,"locationsCount":79},"100582968","benson-relaxation-technique-and-stress-in-pregnancy-100582968","NCT06870214","Benson Relaxation Technique and Stress in Pregnancy","''Investigation of the Effect of Benson Relaxation Technique Applied to Pregnant Women on Fear of Childbirth, Anxiety and Stress Levels of Pregnant Women''","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Those who are in their 28th-38th weeks of pregnancy,\n* People with mental illness,\n* People who have Anxiety disorder,\n* People with hearing loss;\n* People who have no experience of using relaxation methods in the past,\n* People who have not used herbal or medical sedatives\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Those who do not want to participate in the intervention,\n* Those who have a termination of pregnancy during the intervention,\n* Those who have a risky pregnancy","FEMALE","50 Years",{"count":63,"type":21},60,[24],"The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Benson Relaxation Technique applied to pregnant women on their fear of birth, anxiety and stress levels.",[67,68,29],"Anxiety","Stress","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-03-27",{"date":72,"type":45},"2025-04-02",{"date":74,"type":21},"2025-06-15",{"date":76,"type":21},"2025-10-30",{"name":78,"class":52},"Ondokuz Mayıs University",1]
