CLaCS is an advanced outpatient procedure that combines Nd\\\\:YAG laser treatment with sclerotherapy to enhance vein closure and cosmetic outcomes while minimizing side effects. The trial will compare the standard 70% glucose sclerosant with a novel 0.2% Aetoxysklerol (polidocanol) foam prepared using the VARIXIO system. Despite widespread use of CLaCS, no head-to-head studies currently exist comparing these two agents. This study aims to determine whether low-concentration Aetoxysklerol foam is non-inferior to 70% glucose in achieving effective telangiectasia elimination.",[27,28,29],"Varicose Veins of Lower Limb","Spider Veins","Reticular Leg Veins",[31,32,33,34],"Telangiectasia","CryoLaser and CryoSclerotherapy","Cosmetic phlebology","AI prediction","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-07-17",{"date":38,"type":39},"2025-07-18","ACTUAL",{"date":41,"type":21},"2025-09-01",{"date":43,"type":21},"2028-09-01",{"name":45,"class":46},"Charles University, Czech Republic","OTHER",{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":54,"minAge":55,"maxAge":56,"enrollmentInfo":57,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":59,"briefSummary":61,"conditions":62,"keywords":63,"overallStatus":67,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":68,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":69,"startDateStruct":71,"completionDateStruct":73,"leadSponsor":75,"locationsCount":77},"100529590","laser-treatment-of-reticular-leg-veins-vs-sclerotherapy-100529590","NCT06175754","Laser Treatment of Reticular Leg Veins vs. Sclerotherapy","Treatment of Reticular Leg Veins: a Prospective, Randomized, Comparative Clinical Trial of a 1064 nm Nd:YAG Long Pulse Laser, Combined Treatment of a 1064 nm Nd:YAG Long Pulse Laser and Sclerotherapy vs. Sclerotherapy Alone.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* women over 18\n* reticular veins\n* signed informed consent to participate in the study\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* diabetes mellitus\n* pregnancy or lactation\n* malignant neoplasms\n* inability or unwillingness of the patient to wear compression stockings\n* hypersensitivity to the polidocanol, cold, sunlight\n* concomitant diseases: bronchial asthma, severe liver and kidney disease, acute thrombosis and thrombophlebitis, infection of the skin and\u002For soft tissues, infectious diseases, arteriosclerosis, diabetic angiopathy, heart defects requiring surgery, fever, toxic hyperthyroidism, obesity, tuberculosis, sepsis, violation of the cellular composition of the blood, all diseases requiring bed rest, heart disease with decompensation phenomena,\n* known hereditary thrombophilia.\n* period after treatment of alcoholism\n* reception of oral contraceptives\n* sedentary lifestyle","FEMALE","18 Years","75 Years",{"count":58,"type":21},174,[60],"NA","Treatment of reticular veins with a 1064 nm long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser and combination of a 1064 nm Nd:YAG long pulse laser and sclerotherapy should be no less effective than sclerotherapy alone, and have a frequency of adverse events less then sclerotherapy alone.",[29],[64,65,66],"reticular veins","long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser","sclerotherapy","RECRUITING","2025-02-03",{"date":70,"type":39},"2025-02-05",{"date":72,"type":39},"2023-10-09",{"date":74,"type":21},"2025-12-09",{"name":76,"class":46},"Derzhavin Tambov State University",1]
