Excess adiposity is associated with differences in brain structure and functional connectivity underlying these processes, and insulin resistance, which commonly co-occurs with excess adiposity, has been linked with dopamine signaling that is crucial for these processes. However, whether and how excess adiposity and insulin resistance affect reward learning and decision-making remains poorly understood. This study will address that gap, examining the effects of excess adiposity and insulin resistance, and their interaction, on processes of reward learning and decision-making in food-specific and general contexts.",[28,29,30,31],"Adiposity","Insulin Sensitivity\u002FResistance","Decision-Making","Reward Learning",[33,34,35,36,37],"flavor nutrient learning","insulin sensitivity","adiposity","decision-making","probabilistic learning","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-05",{"date":41,"type":42},"2026-06-10","ACTUAL",{"date":44,"type":22},"2026-07-01",{"date":46,"type":22},"2029-07-01",{"name":48,"class":49},"Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University","OTHER"]
