This intervention is designed for American Indian / Alaska Native (AI) parents/guardians of adolescents who reside in urban areas. This will be a multi-regional effectiveness trial across four regions: Northeast (Buffalo/Niagara), Midwest (St. Paul/Minneapolis), Mountain (Denver), and Southwest (Phoenix). There are four specific aims. First, this study will test the effectiveness of Parenting in Two Worlds (P2W) as compared to an informational family health intervention, Healthy Families in 2 Worlds (HF2W), in improving parenting and family functioning. Second, this study will test if the relative effectiveness of P2W, compared to HF2W, varies by parent's/guardian's level of socioeconomic vulnerability, experiences of historical loss, or AI cultural identity. Third, this study will examine if P2W can reduce adolescent (ages 12 - 17) risky health behaviors including substance use, depressive symptoms, suicidality, and risky sexual behaviors. Fourth, this study will examine whether positive changes in parenting and family functioning that result from P2W lead to positive changes in adolescent's health behaviors.",[28,29,30,31],"Parenting","Mental Health Wellness 1","Substance Use","Risky Health Behavior",[33,34],"family functioning","risky sexual behavior","RECRUITING","2026-04-27
2026-04-29","ACTUAL
2023-09-14
2028-06-01
Arizona State University","OTHER",4
"100629517","moon-and-sun-brothers-a-community-prevention-intervention-hermanos-de-luna-y-sol-100629517","NCT07475702","Moon and Sun Brothers: A Community Prevention Intervention (Hermanos de Luna y Sol)","Inclusion Criteria:

* Identify as male.
* Latino/x/e
* Report having sex with men only, or both men and women in the last 12 months.
* Speaks, reads/writes in Spanish.
* ≥18 years of age.
* Has access to a computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone device.
* Be willing to participate in the study.
* Be able to provide informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria:

* Populations younger than 18 years.
* Individuals who have participated in an Hermanos de Luna y Sol program in either the intervention or control group locations.","18 Years
360,[58],"NA","The goal of this quasi-experimental, community intervention is to reduce HIV sexual risk among Latino immigrant bisexual men or men who have sex with men.
