The functional proprioceptive stimulation (FPS) device Vibramoov® represents a novel technology designed to stimulate proprioceptors at the muscle-tendon junction through targeted vibratory stimuli, thereby activating sensorimotor centers in the brain and potentially facilitating movement execution.\n\nThe aim of this randomized controlled trial is to investigate whether Lokomat® training combined with Vibramoov® leads to greater improvements in qualitative and quantitative gait parameters in stroke patients compared with Lokomat® training alone. The study will be conducted at the Gröbming Rehabilitation Center and will include patients undergoing a four-week neurological inpatient rehabilitation program. Participants will be randomly assigned to an intervention group (Lokomat® + Vibramoov®) or a control group (Lokomat® only), with 20 patients per group.\n\nPrimary outcomes include the 6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) and spatiotemporal gait parameters. Additional assessments include functional scores, patient-reported outcome measures, and blood biomarkers. Statistical analyses will be performed depending on data distribution. A follow-up assessment evaluating EQ-5D and PHQ-4 will be conducted six months after completion of the rehabilitation program.",[28,29,30,31],"Stroke","Robotic Assisted Gait Training","Vibration Therapy","Gait Biomechanics",[29,33,34],"Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation","Gait Parameter","RECRUITING","2026-04-07",{"date":38,"type":39},"2026-04-14","ACTUAL",{"date":41,"type":39},"2026-01-05",{"date":43,"type":22},"2027-12",{"name":45,"class":46},"Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Arthritis and Rehabilitation","NETWORK",1,{"id":49,"slug":50,"hasResults":11,"nctId":51,"briefTitle":52,"officialTitle":53,"acronym":54,"eligibilityCriteria":55,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":56,"maxAge":18,"enrollmentInfo":57,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":59,"phases":4,"briefSummary":60,"conditions":61,"keywords":63,"overallStatus":35,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":68,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":69,"startDateStruct":71,"completionDateStruct":73,"leadSponsor":75,"locationsCount":47},"100588936","biofeedback-based-system-to-enhance-robotic-assisted-gait-training-in-children-with-cerebral-palsy-100588936","NCT06947889","Biofeedback Based System to Enhance Robotic Assisted Gait Training in Children With Cerebral Palsy","AID2GAIT: Biofeedback Based System to Enhance Robotic Assisted Gait Training in Children With Cerebral Palsy","AID2GAIT","Inclusion Criteria:\n\nChildren with cerebral palsy aged 3 to 18 years who have a GMFCS level from I to V, with the ability to express discomfort or pain and understanding simple instructions\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Medical problems that could interfere with training and restrictions on the use of the robotic device;\n* severe lower limb conditions: muscle contractures, instability or subluxation of the hip;\n* recent botulinum toxin A injections to the lower limbs;\n* uncontrolled seizures;\n* open skin disorders and vascular disorders of the lower limbs.\n* Contraindications to gait rehabilitation treatment with Lokomat (e.g. weight \\\u003C10 kg, non-consolidated fractures, cognitive deficits limiting communication).\n* Contractures of fixed joints that limit the range of motion of the orthoses\n* Inability to properly adjust the harness and\u002For orthoses","3 Years",{"count":58,"type":22},11,"OBSERVATIONAL","The AID2GAIT project aims to develop a biofeedback system with the aim of improving the outcomes of robot-assisted gait training (RAGT) in pediatric patients with cerebral palsy.
