Patients age between 15-25 years.\n2. Patients with overbite ≥ 4 mm.\n3. All permanent teeth erupted (excluding 3rd molars).\n4. No previous orthodontic treatment.\n5. Patients with good oral hygiene and good periodontal health.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n1. Skeletal discrepancies.\n2. Missing maxillary anterior teeth or any kind of tooth\u002Froot shape anomaly.\n3. Patients with root resorption or impacted canines.\n4. Previous history of orthodontic treatment.\n5. For canine retraction, Ni-Ti closed-coil springs and elastomeric power chains will be randomly allocated to the right and left quadrants of both arches.\n\nRadiographic measurement (root resorption) and clinical measurements (canine retraction, plaque accumulation and gingival health) will be recorded at four points in time.
