When the body fights severe infections, the heart sometimes struggles to pump blood effectively, which can lead to dangerous complications. Current treatments like intravenous fluids and blood pressure medications have limitations in protecting heart function.\n\nThis multicenter clinical trial aims to evaluate whether adding Shenfu Injection - a traditional Chinese medicine preparation widely used to enhance cardiac function in cardiovascular diseases - to standard therapies can:\n\n1. Prevent myocardial dysfunction during septic shock\n2. Accelerate cardiac recovery if complications occur\n3. Improve overall survival and clinical outcomes The randomized controlled design will compare therapeutic effects between two groups: one receiving standard septic shock treatment alone, and the other receiving standard treatment combined with Shenfu Injection.",[27,28],"Septic Cardiomyopathy","Septic Shock",[28,30,31,32,33],"Cardiac Dysfunction","Shenfu Injection","Myocardial Protection","Randomized Controlled Trial","RECRUITING","2025-03-21",{"date":37,"type":38},"2025-03-27","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":38},"2024-10-01",{"date":42,"type":21},"2026-09-30",{"name":44,"class":45},"First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College","OTHER",1,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":56,"phases":4,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":59,"overallStatus":34,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":63,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":64,"startDateStruct":66,"completionDateStruct":68,"leadSponsor":70,"locationsCount":5},"100577032","diagnosis-treatment-and-outcome-assessment-of-septic-cardiomyopathy-using-an-integrated-mathematical-model-100577032","NCT06793020","Diagnosis, Treatment, and Outcome Assessment of Septic Cardiomyopathy Using an Integrated Mathematical Model","Use of an Integrated Mathematical Model for the Diagnosis, Treatment and Outcome Assessment of Septic Cardiomyopathy","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age 18 years or older;\n* Sepsis according to SEPSIS-3 criteria:\n* Suspected\u002Fconfirmed infection and\n* SOFA (Sequential Organ Failure Assessment) score ≥ 2 or qSOFA score ≥ 2;\n* Septic shock according to SEPSIS-3 criteria:\n* Sepsis is diagnosed and\n* Vasopressor infusion is used to maintain a mean arterial pressure (MAP) ≥ 65 mmHg and\n* Lactate \\> 2 mmol\u002Fl;\n* Cardiovascular support requirement for norepinephrine \\> 0.1 mcg\u002Fkg\u002Fmin infusion;\n* Signed informed consent form (ICF);\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Individuals under 18 years of age;\n* Has uncompensated cardiovascular disease:\n* Cardiogenic shock;\n* Congenital heart disease;\n* Heart failure NYHA functional class IV;\n* Refusal to participate in the study.",{"count":55,"type":21},100,"OBSERVATIONAL","The goal of this observational study is to evaluate whether a new integrated mathematical model can improve the accuracy of diagnosing septic cardiomyopathy and predicting clinical outcomes in adult patients with suspected septic cardiomyopathy.
