The first is related to those CNS sensitization pathways seen in fibromyalgia, specifically DMN-insula brain functional connectivity and insular glutamate.\n\nThe second is related to peripheral inflammation, specifically joint synovitis, blood cytokines\u002Fchemokines and DAN-LIPL functional brain connectivity.
