The study will be conducted in two phases: Phase I will compare the fertilization rates of oocytes exposed to two types of Ca²⁺ ionophore treatments- Ionomycin solution and commercially available CultActive-against a control group without calcium ionophore treatment. Phase II will assess whether an additional injection of CaCl2, prior to exposure to the chosen ionophore from Phase I, further improves fertilization outcomes. The goal is to identify the optimal AOA protocol for improving fertilization rates and to evaluate the safety and efficacy of this approach in relation to ploidy, with a focus on ensuring normal pre-implantation embryo development.",[28,29,30,31],"ICSI","Testicular Sperm Extraction in Azoospermic Patients","Male Infertility","PGT-A",[28,31,33,34,35,36,37,38,39],"artificial oocyte activation","AOA","calcium ionophore","ionomycin","TESE","Immotile sperm","Failed fertilization","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-06",{"date":43,"type":44},"2026-05-11","ACTUAL",{"date":46,"type":22},"2026-04-30",{"date":48,"type":22},"2026-12-31",{"name":50,"class":51},"ART Fertility Clinics LLC","OTHER",{"id":53,"slug":54,"hasResults":11,"nctId":55,"briefTitle":56,"officialTitle":56,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":57,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":58,"minAge":59,"maxAge":60,"enrollmentInfo":61,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":63,"phases":4,"briefSummary":64,"conditions":65,"keywords":66,"overallStatus":40,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":68,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":69,"startDateStruct":71,"completionDateStruct":73,"leadSponsor":75,"locationsCount":4},"100612929","laterality-success-determination-of-microscopic-testicular-sperm-extraction-in-non-obstructive-azoopsermia-patients-100612929","NCT07259967","Laterality Success Determination of Microscopic Testicular Sperm Extraction in Non Obstructive Azoopsermia Patients","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* • Male patients diagnosed as non obstructive azoospermia.\n\n * Will do bilateral TESE.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* • Obstructive azoospermia.\n\n * Incomplete medical record .\n * Prior testicular Trauma.","MALE","20 Years","60 Years",{"count":62,"type":22},80,"OBSERVATIONAL","Determination of percentage of successful sperm retrieval in single testis in cases who will do bilateral TESE and identification factors mostly associated with successful sperm retrieval",[29],[67,37],"azoospermia","2025-11-28",{"date":70,"type":44},"2025-12-02",{"date":72,"type":22},"2025-12",{"date":74,"type":22},"2027-01",{"name":76,"class":51},"Assiut University"]
