Additional aims are to:\n\n1. translate and validate a tool for identifying patients with difficult vein access within the Swedish healthcare context,\n2. to evaluate the implementation related to its feasibility, acceptability, fidelity, and cost-effectiveness.\n\nThe main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Does the implementation of evidence-based practices improve the quality of IVADs care, e.g. thrombophlebitis\u002Fphlebitis, extravasation, infiltration, dislodgement and increase register nurses and anaesthesiologists' knowledge of IVADs best practices?\n* Does the intervention bridge barriers to successful implementation and support routinization of evidence-based practices.\n* Which factors influence the implementation in terms of feasibility, acceptability, cost-effectiveness and compatibility with professionals' existing values and clinical workflows?",[24,25,26,27,28],"Phlebitis","Thrombophlebitis","Infiltration of Peripheral IV Therapy","Extravasation Injury","Infections Symtoms",[30,31,32,33],"Quality of intravascular catheters","Quality of peripheral vein cathters","Point prevalence measure of quality of intravascular catheter","Implementation intervention","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-22",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-06-25","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":20},"2026-07-20",{"date":42,"type":20},"2028-12-31",{"name":44,"class":45},"Sahlgrenska University Hospital","OTHER"]
