Stage I-III N0-2 disease esophageal\u002Fesophagogastric cancer\n  * Stage II or III thymoma\u002Fthymic carcinoma\n  * Other cancers in the thoracic region that meet the dosimetric and other clinical trial criteria, for example lymphoma sarcoma.\n* Participants must have a course of daily fractionated RT planned of at least 15 treatment fractions, typically ranging from 1.8 to 4 Gy\u002Ffraction\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Definitive clinical or radiologic evidence of metastatic disease with life expectancy \\\u003C12 months\n* Prior thoracic radiotherapy significantly overlapping the heart region\n* Contraindications to MRI\n* Severe, active co-morbidity defined as follows: New York Heart Association Functional Classification III\u002FIV are not eligible.","ALL","18 Years",{"count":19,"type":20},60,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[23],"PHASE2","The goal of this clinical trial is to compare a new way of using magnetic resonance-guided adaptive radiation therapy (MRgART) to the standard of care linear accelerator (LINAC) radiation treatment in people with cancer in the thoracic region near the heart.\n\nThe main question it aims to answer is whether MRgART affects the heart differently than LINAC.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Receive radiation therapy\n* Undergo MRIs and bloodwork\n* Complete quality of life questionnaires",[26,27,28,29,30],"Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (Stage III)","Esophageal Cancer Stage I-III","Esophagogastric Cancer Stage I-III","Thymoma and Thymic Carcinoma Stage II-III","Other Cancers in the Thoracic Region","RECRUITING","2026-03-09",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-03-11","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":35},"2025-10-08",{"date":39,"type":20},"2029-03",{"name":41,"class":42},"University of Wisconsin, Madison","OTHER"]
