The effect of blood storage time on the patient's 28-day mortality rate.\n2. The relationship between storage time and other health problems that the patient may develop (such as heart disease, vascular occlusion, respiratory failure, infection, and organ failure).\n\nFor this purpose, patients aged 18-75 who were admitted directly from the scene of injury and received large transfusions at Jacksonville Shands Hospital between January 1, 2023, and October 1, 2025, will be included.
