The intervention group will participate in supervised, real-time sessions via a video-conferencing platform, three times per week for 12 weeks. Exercises combine isometric and dynamic core stability tasks, progressing in difficulty over time. Dynamic postural control will be assessed using the lower quarter Y-Balance Test (YBT-LQ), while trunk endurance will be measured using the flexor endurance, extensor endurance, and side bridge tests.",[27,28,29],"Postpartum","Trunk Muscle Endurance","Postural Stability","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-04-28",{"date":33,"type":34},"2026-05-01","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":21},"2026-06-01",{"date":38,"type":21},"2027-02-01",{"name":40,"class":41},"Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University","OTHER",{"id":43,"slug":44,"hasResults":11,"nctId":45,"briefTitle":46,"officialTitle":46,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":47,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":48,"minAge":49,"maxAge":50,"enrollmentInfo":51,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":53,"briefSummary":54,"conditions":55,"keywords":60,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":72,"locationsCount":75},"100613036","the-effect-of-three-dimensional-exercises--schroth-method--on-trunk-muscle-endurance-sleep-quality-and-quality-of-life-in-adolescents-with-hyperkyphosis-100613036","NCT07261358","The Effect of Three-Dimensional Exercises ( Schroth Method ) on Trunk Muscle Endurance, Sleep Quality, and Quality of Life in Adolescents With Hyperkyphosis","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age\n* Presence of thoracic kyphosis with a T3-T12 Cobb angle ≥45° measured on a lateral thoracic radiograph\n* Sufficient physical and cognitive ability to actively participate in the exercise protocol for at least 3 months\n* Adequate communication and cognitive capacity to understand the educational materials provided\n* Ability and willingness to regularly complete the exercise log throughout the study period\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Scoliosis with a Cobb angle \\>10° in the coronal plane\n* Presence of structural spinal deformities such as vertebral fracture, spondylolisthesis\n* History of previous spinal surgery\n* Neuromuscular disorders that may affect the spine (e.g., cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy)\n* Structural or functional pathologies involving the spine, pelvic complex, or shoulder girdle\n* Balance disorders such as vestibular dysfunction, vertigo, or other conditions affecting postural control\n* Inability to comply with the exercise protocol due to intellectual disability, severe behavioral disorders, or significant communication impairments\n* Participation in professional-level sports activities that may influence exercise capacity or musculoskeletal function\n* Presence of serious cardiopulmonary diseases (e.g., congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension)","ALL","12 Years","18 Years",{"count":52,"type":21},60,[24],"Adolescence is a critical period for spinal growth, and progression of thoracic hyperkyphosis may lead to pain, weak trunk muscles, sleep disturbances, and reduced quality of life.
