It is caused by weak pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues and often presents with pain, urinary incontinence, and reduced quality of life. Although pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) is commonly used, newer methods such as Hypopressive Exercises (HE) and Pelvic Floor Functional Movement Retraining (PFFMR) offer promising approaches. HE focuses on posture and breathing strategies to reduce intra-abdominal pressure, while PFFMR retrains pelvic stability and function through integrated movement patterns. This study aims to evaluate the combined effects of HE and PFFMR on pain, urogynecological symptoms, and quality of life in women with uterine prolapse, compared to single interventions.\n\nThis randomized clinical trial will include 32 women aged 30-60 years with stage I-II uterine prolapse at Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. Participants will undergo an 8-week program with supervised sessions three times per week. Outcomes will be assessed using the Pelvic Floor Bother Questionnaire (PFBQ), Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), and Prolapse Quality of Life Questionnaire (P-QoL), and analyzed using SPSS version 25.0.",[27],"Uterine Prolapse",[29,30,31],"Exercise Therapy","Quality of Life","urogynecological symptoms","RECRUITING","2026-06-08",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-06-11","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":36},"2025-04-02",{"date":40,"type":21},"2026-08-15",{"name":42,"class":43},"Riphah International University","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":51,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":53,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":56,"phases":4,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":66,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":71,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":72,"startDateStruct":74,"completionDateStruct":76,"leadSponsor":78,"locationsCount":81},"100517943","performance-of-symmcora-vs-v-loc-suture-material-in-patients-undergoing-laparoscopic-total-hysterectomy-100517943","NCT06024109","Performance of SYMMCORA® vs. V-Loc® Suture Material in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Total Hysterectomy","Prospective, International, Randomized, Multicentric, Controlled Study on the Performance of SYMMCORA® Mid-term Unidirectional Barbed Suture Versus V-loc® Suture Material in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Total Hysterectomy","BARHYSTER","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Females undergoing an elective, laparoscopic total hysterectomy\n* Age ≥ 18 years\n* Written informed consent\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Emergency surgery\n* Open surgery\n* Patients undergone immunosuppressive drug treatment within the prior 6 months\n* Patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to the suture material.\n* Participation in another clinical study\n* Non-compliance of patient","18 Years",{"count":55,"type":21},132,"OBSERVATIONAL","The aim of this study is to show the superiority of the new unidirectional barbed suture (SYMMCORA® mid-term, unidirectional) to conventional suture material in terms of time to perform the vaginal cuff closure during gynecologic surgeries without an increase in the complication rate.\n\nSecondly, the superiority of SYMMCORA®, mid-term unidirectional compared to the V-Loc®, unidirectional will be assessed regarding the mean time to close the vaginal cuff. The study will be performed in routine clinical setting, the only difference will be the randomization into two different suture groups.
