Does the use of the Kiwi device lead to higher sexual function scores compared to traditional vaginal dilators\n2. Does the Kiwi device improve sexual distress, pain, and overall symptom severity more effectively than traditional vaginal dilators?\n\nResearchers will compare the Kiwi vibrating device to traditional cylindrical vaginal dilators to assess whether the Kiwi device results in greater improvements in sexual function and symptom relief.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Be randomly assigned to use either the Kiwi device or traditional vaginal dilators.\n* Use the assigned device three times per week for 15 minutes per session over four weeks.\n* Complete surveys before and after the study, including assessments of sexual function, pain, and overall improvement.",[27,28,29,30,31,32],"Genito-Pelvic Pain\u002FPenetration Disorder","Dyspareunia","Vaginismus","Pelvic Pain","Vestibulodynia","Vulvodynia (Chronic Vulvar Pain)",[34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42],"genito-pelvic pain\u002Fpenetration disorder","dyspareunia","entry dyspareunia","vaginismus","pelvic pain","female sexual function","pain with sex","vulvodynia","vestibulodynia","RECRUITING","2025-05-16",{"date":46,"type":47},"2025-05-21","ACTUAL",{"date":49,"type":47},"2025-03-01",{"date":51,"type":21},"2026-03",{"name":53,"class":54},"Medstar Health Research Institute","OTHER",1,{"id":57,"slug":58,"hasResults":11,"nctId":59,"briefTitle":60,"officialTitle":61,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":62,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":63,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":65,"briefSummary":67,"conditions":68,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":71,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":72,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":73,"startDateStruct":75,"completionDateStruct":76,"leadSponsor":78,"locationsCount":4},"100559496","phase-3-hydration-and-acceptability-of-the-genital-and-skin-mucosa-of-a-vaginal-moisturizer-in-menopausal-women-100559496","NCT06564883","Hydration and Acceptability of the Genital and Skin Mucosa of a Vaginal Moisturizer in Menopausal Women","Clinical Evaluation of Hydration and Acceptability of the Genital and Cutaneous Mucosa of a Vaginal Moisturizer in Vaginal Dryness in Menopausal Women","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Healthy research participants, with an active sexual life;\n* Intact skin and mucosa in the test region;\n* Participants vaccinated for COVID-19 (Corona virus Disease).\n* Agreement to adhere to the study procedures and requirements and attend the institute on the day(s) and time(s) determined for the assessments;\n* Ability to consent to participate in the study;\n* Menopausal participants of any age, without systemic or topical hormone replacement therapy in the last 6 months\n* Presenting mild to moderate vaginal dryness (≥0.5 and \\\u003C7.5) - according to the Visual Analogic Scale\n* Healthy research participants, with an active sex life (at least once a week)\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Skin pathology in the area of product application;\n* Decompensated Diabetes Mellitus (TBD by the institute together with the sponsor);\n* Immune insufficiency;\n* Current use of the following topical or systemic medications: corticosteroids, immunosuppressants and antihistamines;\n* Skin diseases: vitiligo, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis;\n* Previous reaction to the category of the product tested;\n* Other illnesses or medications that may directly interfere with the study or put the health of the research participant at risk.\n* Have used vaginal moisturizing creams and\u002For intimate lubricants 5 days before the initial study visit;\n* Have had sexual intercourse at least 48 hours before the initial study visit;\n* Have been diagnosed with a urogenital or vaginal infection in the last 30 days;\n* Have used topical or systemic antibiotics, antifungals, hormone-based creams or treatment for vaginal atrophy in the last 30 days.",{"count":64,"type":21},45,[66],"PHASE3","Hyaluronic Acid is indicated for the relief of vaginal dryness, itching, and irritation, or the reduction of vaginal lubrication with prolonged hydration effects for up to 72 hours.
