The study assesses three main tasks: lesion detection (localization), classification (benign vs malignant), and segmentation of tumor margins.\n\nAI algorithms will be applied to endoscopic video data acquired during routine clinical practice without influencing clinical decision-making. The system will process images in real time and store data for subsequent analysis. AI outputs will be compared with physician assessment and reference standard histopathology to evaluate diagnostic performance.",[25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33],"Upper Aerodigestive Tract Neoplasms","Upper AerodigestiveTract Cancer","Upper Aero-digestive Tract (UADT) Neoplasm","Squamous Cell Carcinoma","Leukoplakia","Head and Neck Cancer (H&N)","Vocal Cord Disease","Vocal Fold Polyp","Vocal Fold Nodules","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-05-12",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-05-19","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":21},"2026-05",{"date":42,"type":21},"2028-02",{"name":44,"class":45},"Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia","OTHER",3,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":57,"phases":58,"briefSummary":60,"conditions":61,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":65,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":66,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":67,"startDateStruct":69,"completionDateStruct":71,"leadSponsor":73,"locationsCount":5},"100513829","early-phase-1-project-4-ambulatory-biofeedback-and-voice-therapy-for-patients-with-vocal-hyperfunction-100513829","NCT05970562","Project 4: Ambulatory Biofeedback and Voice Therapy for Patients With Vocal Hyperfunction","Preliminary Studies to Test the Effects of Ambulatory Biofeedback in Small Groups of Patients With Vocal Hyperfunction: Study 3","Inclusion criteria for PVH:\n\n* Diagnosis of vocal fold nodules and polyps.\n* Secondary diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) or gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD)\n* Secondary diagnoses commonly associated with phonotrauma like erythema, edema, varies, ectasia, laryngitis, secondary\u002Freactive muscle tension dysphonia (MTD), hemorrhage, etc.\n\nExclusion criteria for PVH:\n\n* Any secondary diagnosis not directly related to phonotrauma, like cyst, sulk, cancer, bamboo nodule, known or suspected paralysis, etc.\n\nInclusion criteria for NPVH:\n\n* Diagnosis of primary MTD.\n* Allowable secondary diagnoses are LPR and GERD.\n\nExclusion criteria for NPVH:\n\n* Any secondary diagnosis related to pathological structure (e.g., nodules, polyps, edema, cancer), neurology (e.g., paralysis, Parkinson's Disease), or respiration (e.g., chronic cough, paradoxical vocal fold motion).","65 Years",{"count":56,"type":21},100,"INTERVENTIONAL",[59],"EARLY_PHASE1","Vocal hyperfunction (VH) is the most commonly treated class of voice disorders by speech-language pathologists and voice therapy is the primary curative treatment.
