Previously untreated symptomatic Waldenström macroglobulinemia (WM) meeting IWWM-7 diagnostic criteria:\n\n   1. Presence of monoclonal IgM-type immunoglobulin in serum\n   2. Bone marrow infiltration by plasmacytoid lymphocytes or bone marrow biopsy showing small lymphocytes\u002Fplasma cells\u002Fplasmacytoid lymphocytes (any quantity) in the intertrabecular space\n   3. Exclusion of other non-Hodgkin lymphoma subtypes\n   4. Typical immunophenotype: CD5-\u002FCD10-\u002FCD19⁺\u002FCD20⁺\u002FCD23-\u002FCD79b⁺ \u002FsIgM⁺\u002FCD138- clonal B-cells. Variant phenotypes may show CD5\u002FCD10\u002FCD23 \u002FCD38 positivity or coexistence of clonal B-cells and plasma cells.\n2. MYD88 L265P mutation is detected in peripheral blood or bone marrow.\n3. Serum monoclonal IgM ≥5 g\u002FL.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n1.
