The trial compares fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy combined with bevacizumab (FSRT-Bev) versus hippocampus-avoidant whole-brain radiotherapy with simultaneous integrated boost (HA-WBRT-SIB). The main objectives are to evaluate intracranial tumor control and preservation of neurocognitive function .\n\nPatients will be randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either FSRT plus bevacizumab or HA-WBRT-SIB. In the experimental group, FSRT is delivered to visible brain tumors over 5 daily treatments (total 30 Gy, 6 Gy per fraction). Bevacizumab is given intravenously every 3 weeks for 4 cycles. In the control group, patients receive hippocampus-avoidant whole-brain radiation (25 Gy) with a simultaneous dose boost to metastatic lesions (40 Gy total) over 10 daily treatments.",[26,27,28,29,30],"Lung Adenocarcinoma","Brain Metastases","Radiotherapy, Intensity-Modulated","Bevacizumab","Whole-Brain Radiotherapy",[26,27,32,29,33],"fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (FSRT)","Whole-brain radiotherapy with simultaneous integrated boost (HA-WBRT-SIB)","RECRUITING","2026-04-03",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-04-06","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":38},"2026-03-20",{"date":42,"type":20},"2029-09-15",{"name":44,"class":45},"Sun Yat-sen University","OTHER",3,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":57,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":34,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":60,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":61,"startDateStruct":63,"completionDateStruct":65,"leadSponsor":67,"locationsCount":69},"100627035","phase-3-anlotinib-plus-whole-brain-radiotherapy-for-brain-metastases-in-sclc-patients-100627035","NCT07443397","Anlotinib Plus Whole-Brain Radiotherapy for Brain Metastases in SCLC Patients.","Anlotinib Plus Whole-Brain Radiotherapy for Brain Metastases in Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients: A Multicenter Phase III Trail.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Small cell lung cancer confirmed by pathology, with brain metastases diagnosed either at initial presentation or during treatment, and measurable disease according to RECIST criteria.\n* The expected survival time is more than 3 months.\n* Intracranial metastases ≤10.\n* Adequate organ and bone marrow function.\n* Women of childbearing potential must agree to use effective contraception during the study and for 6 months after its completion.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients who have used antiangiogenic drugs within the previous 1 month.\n* Non-small cell lung cancer (including combined small cell carcinoma).\n* Small cell lung cancer with hilar invasion or hemoptysis.\n* Patients with intracranial acute, subacute cerebral infarction, intracranial lesions acute, subacute hemorrhage.\n* An unresolved acute toxic reaction period higher than grade 2 of CTC-AE(4.0) due to any prior treatment.\n* Advanced patients with severe symptoms, tumors that have spread to the internal organs, and a short-term risk of life-threatening complications.\n* Patients with life-threatening conditions of other severe and\u002For uncontrolled diseases.\n* History of prior brain radiotherapy.","80 Years",{"count":56,"type":20},134,[23],"This study is a multicenter, randomized, prospective Phase III study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of anlotinib plus whole-brain radiotherapy (WBRT) compared with WBRT alone in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients with brain metastases.
