Qualifiers
confirmed diagnosis of acromegaly
availability to carry out outpatient checks
ability to provide informed consent
Disqualifiers
Pregnancy
use of glucocorticoids (except those in use for replacement therapy)
alcohol abuse
exacerbation of chronic disease
