About this trial

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between dietary patterns and the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Eligibility criteria

Qualifiers

• Adults aged above 18 years

Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus according to ADA criteria.

Diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stages 1-4 (eGFR 15-90 mL/min/1.73 m²) for at least 3 months.

Willing and able to provide informed consent

Disqualifiers

• Patients with end-stage renal disease (CKD stage 5 or on dialysis).

History of kidney transplantation.

Acute kidney injury within the past 3 months.

Pregnant or lactating women.
