Patient with confirmed diagnosis of IBD
Patient with planned endoscopy (ileocolonoscopy for Crohn's disease (CD)/ulcerative colitis (UC) or sigmoidoscopy for UC) for the assessment of endoscopic disease activity according to routine practice
willing to provide informed consent
