About this trial

Endoscopic third ventriculostomy in cases of hydrocephalus provide less invasive and safe technique than ventriculoperitoneal Shunt also decrease complications of ventriculoperitoneal Shunt

Eligibility criteria

Qualifiers

cases hydrocephalus diagnosed by CT or MRI.in pediatric age group up to 18 years

Both sex (males and females) will be included.

Disqualifiers

cases with hydrocephalus associated with csf infection or hemorrhage

Previously operated VP shunt or ETV .

Mult cystic hydrocephalus

Treatments tested in this trial

  • Fenestration of the floor of the third ventricle
  • Endoscopic third ventriculostomy of the brain third ventricle
  • Endoscopic third ventriculostomy

Treatment groups

30 Participants
are divided into 1 treatment group
