18-40 years old
Body mass index <30 kg/m2
Naïve to IMT
>75% of predicted forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) / forced vital capacity (FVC) (FEV1/FVC)
Cardiovascular disease
Respiratory disease (including asthma)
Metabolic disease
Currently pregnant
