DAREON®-NEC-1: A Study in People With Advanced Extrapulmonary Neuroendocrine Cancer (epNEC) to Compare Obrixtamig Plus Carboplatin and Etoposide Treatment With Standard Chemotherapy

This study is open to adults with advanced extrapulmonary neuroendocrine cancer. The purpose of this study is to find out if a study medicine called obrixtamig plus standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and etoposide) improves survival when compared to standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and etoposide) alone. Obrixtamig is an antibody-like molecule that may help the immune system fight cancer. Another purpose of the study is to test a medical device being developed to measure levels of the tumour marker delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3). Participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. One group (treatment arm) receives obrixtamig and standard chemotherapy followed by obrixtamig alone for up to 3 years. The other group (control arm) receives standard chemotherapy without obrixtamig for about 4 months. All treatments are given as infusions into a vein. During the study, participants in both groups visit the study site regularly. Participants in the treatment arm stay overnight at the study site following the first 2 obrixtamig treatments. The doctors regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects. At some of the visits, doctors check the size of the tumour(s). The results are compared between the 2 groups to see whether the treatment works.

Prenatal Music Exposure to Enhance Postnatal Language Development

The goal of this randomized controlled study is to evaluate the effect of prenatal music exposure on infants through two years of age. The study addresses two primary questions: * Whether prenatal music exposure enhances neural encoding of speech and improve language and cognitive outcomes during the first two years of life among fetuses * Whether predictive models can be developed from available fetal data to forecast individual differences in developmental outcomes among fetuses exposed to prenatal music. Participants will engage in music listening or self-learning five days a week until delivery. After the participants give birth, the children will be followed up on their neural responses to speech, as well as their language and cognitive development, until they reach two years of age. The investigators will compare the effects of low- and high-dose prenatal music exposure with a control group receiving education and develop models to predict outcomes in fetuses exposed to prenatal music.

Clinical Trial for Acupuncture in Adolescents With Psychological Distress and Insomnia

This is an assessor-blinded, randomized, MAS-controlled trial. A total of 148 adolescents aged 15-22 years experiencing mild to moderate anxiety or depressive symptoms will be recruited. They will be randomly assigned to DCEAS+BA (n = 74) and MAS (n = 74) for 2 sessions per week for 8 weeks, followed by a 4-week post-treatment observation period. A post-intervention visit will be held at week 12. The primary outcome will be assessed using the Chinese version of the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI-C). The secondary outcomes include the Beck Depression Inventory II (C-BDI-II) for depression, the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and the Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) as additional assessments for anxiety and depression, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) for sleep quality, and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief (WHOQOL-BREF) (HK version) for the general quality of life. Assessment will be carried out every 4 weeks till week 12, while saliva will be collected at baseline and at the end of the 8 weeks. Salivary oxytocin and cortisol will be analyzed. A generalized linear mixed-effect model will be applied to compare treatment outcomes over time in the two groups and linear regression will be conducted to examine intercorrelations among clinical improvement and changes in biomarker levels. Subgroup analysis will be conducted to identify specific effects of DCEAS+BA.

A Clinical Study of Sacituzumab Tirumotecan (Sac-TMT, MK-2870) in People With Breast Cancer (MK-2870-032)

Researchers are looking for new ways to treat types of breast cancer that are both: * High-risk, which means the cancer may have a higher chance of getting worse or coming back after treatment * Early-stage, which means the cancer is in the breast or the lymph nodes around the breast The 2 types of breast cancer in this study are triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and hormone receptor (HR)-low positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) negative breast cancer. These cancers have zero or a low amount of a protein called HER2 and other proteins that attach to the hormones estrogen or progesterone. Sacituzumab tirumotecan (also known as sac-TMT or MK-2870), the study medicine, is a type of targeted therapy. A targeted therapy is a treatment that works to control how specific types of cancer cells grow and spread. The main goals of this study are to learn if people who receive sac-TMT, pembrolizumab, and chemotherapy: * Have fewer cancer cells found in the tumors and lymph nodes removed during surgery compared to those who receive only pembrolizumab and chemotherapy * Live longer without the cancer growing, spreading, or coming back compared to people who receive only pembrolizumab with chemotherapy

Testing the Addition of BMS-986016 (Relatlimab) to the Usual Immunotherapy After Initial Treatment for Recurrent or Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Cancer

This phase II trial tests the addition of BMS-986016 (relatlimab) to the usual immunotherapy after initial treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent) or that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Relatlimab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The usual approach of treatment is initial treatment with chemotherapy such as the combination of cisplatin (or carboplatin) and gemcitabine, along with immunotherapy such as nivolumab. After the initial treatment is finished, patients may continue to receive additional immunotherapy. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cells from making deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. Giving BMS-986016 in addition to the usual immunotherapy after initial treatment may extend the time without the tumor cells growing or spreading longer than the usual approach in patients with recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer.
