CanScan; Community-based Registry to Assess, Address and advaNce SCreening for cANcer Prevention and Management

Early diagnosis of cancer allows for better treatment outcomes, higher survival rates, and lower costs of care. It is shown that cancer monitoring for cancer in at-risk populations is a key component in early diagnosis. The HMH Hennessey Institute for Cancer prevention and Applied Molecular Science (HICAP) is a newly founded institute, providing clinical services for cancer screening and risk assessment to the community, as well as research in cancer risk and prevention. The CanScan registry will prospectively collect data from participants in the form of questionnaires. The registry will also capture data that is collected as per non-research assessments, for participants who consent to participate. The registry will facilitate better understanding of cancer risk, screening, and diagnostics.

Norris ORIEN Total Cancer Care

This research trial collects biological samples and clinical information to create a repository of data from patients with cancer or a predisposition for cancer. Combining genetic information from biological samples and clinical data may lead to more knowledge about why certain cancers respond to treatment and help create more personalized medicine.

Clinical Biospecimen Collection

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists(NYCBS) is dedicated to provide world-class, patient-centered, affordable care to patients with cancer and blood disorders in their own communities, close to family and friends. Our vision is a world free of cancer and blood disorders by contributing to the search for cures by offering cutting-edge clinical trials and personalized, state-of-the-art treatments that save and prolong lives. In support of these objectives NYCBS has created a centralized oncology biorepository in tandem with a longitudinal study to support translational research. This study establishes a biological sample bank and associated data reservoir from thousands of cancer patients, high risk populations, and survivors. This means it collects and stores samples and information over time, throughout the course of a patient's cancer treatment. Researchers will then use these samples and information to better understand how cancer affects the body over time in order to formulate new treatments. The information and samples provided will allow the testing of new therapies and aid in the development of new medical treatments.

Mirai-MRI: Validation of AI Models for Breast Cancer Risk

This is a multi-center, single arm trial to evaluate the cancer detection rate of supplemental screening magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in participants who are high-risk by Mirai-MRI assessment. Mirai is an accurate cancer risk model based on full-resolution mammograms.

InAdvance: Surveillance, Prevention, and Interception in a Population at Risk for Cancer

This research study is creating a way to collect and store specimens and information from participants who may be at an increased risk of developing cancer, or has been diagnosed with an early phase of a cancer or a family member who has a family member with a precursor condition for cancer. * The objective of this study is to identify exposures as well as clinical, molecular, and pathological changes that can be used to predict early development of cancer, malignant transformation, and risks of progression to symptomatic cancer that can ultimately be fatal. * The ultimate goal is to identify novel markers of early detection and risk stratification to drive potential therapeutic approaches to intercept progression to cancer.

Total Cancer Care Protocol: A Lifetime Partnership With Patients Who Have or May be at Risk of Having Cancer

The overall objective of this study is to ultimately develop an improved standard of cancer care by facilitating new cancer research, clinical trials, new technology, new informatics solutions, and "personalized medicine" for the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC) and the Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN) Consortium of academic medical centers, community hospital systems, and other health care providers. To bring new translational research to the community, the ORIEN consortium has initiated the ORIEN Total Cancer Care Program (TCCP). The TCCP establishes a unique collection of blood, tissue, other biological samples and their associated data (survey data, medical records data, cancer registry data, and other related data) from thousands of patients with cancer or at risk of having cancer. This is not a treatment trial. It is a study designed to create a centralized data and tissue repository.

Morehouse Total Cancer Care Protocol

The overall objective of the Morehouse Total Cancer Care study is to develop an improved standard of cancer care by facilitating new biomarker and drug target discovery, informatics solutions, clinical trials, and "personalized medicine" for our community oncology partners (i.e., community hospital systems, and other cancer care providers). To bring new translational research to the community, Morehouse School of Medicine has initiated the Total Cancer Care Program (TCCP). The TCCP establishes a unique collection of blood, tissue, other biological samples and their associated data (survey data, medical records data, cancer registry data, and other related data) from thousands of African American cancer patients, survivors, or those at risk of having cancer. This is not a treatment trial, but a longitudinal study designed to create a centralized cancer biorepository for precision medicine.
