Eye-Tracking Communication Tool for Non-verbal ICU Patients

The objectives of this clinical trial are to explore the feasibility of the eye-tracking communication tool in alleviating communication barriers among non-verbal ICU patients. It will also preliminarily investigate the effectiveness of this tool in facilitating communication for these patients. Researchers will compare the eye-tracking communication tool with conventional techniques (such as body language, writing boards, etc.) to observe the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of the eye-tracking communication tool in alleviating communication barriers. Participants will use an eye-tracking communication tool for augmentative communication for 2 consecutive days.

Shift Hours' Impact on Fatigue and Tracking of Eye Dynamics

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn how night shift-induced sleep debt affects oculomotor patterns, attentional state, and diagnostic performance in emergency radiologists. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does sleep debt from a night shift alter oculomotor parameters, as eyes movements (speed and amplitude), fixation duration, pupil size? * Does a night shift impact radiologists' diagnostic accuracy, attentional state, and perceived fatigue? Researchers will compare radiologists after a night shift (sleep-deprived) with the same radiologists after a night of rest (control) to see if fatigue-related changes affect both visual exploration strategies and diagnostic performance. Participants will: * Perform a guided saccade task assessed by eye tracking (primary endpoint), * Read thoracic CT scans (with and without pulmonary embolism cases) to assess diagnostic performance and visual exploration patterns, * Undergo EEG recording to measure attentional state, * Complete self-report questionnaires on sleepiness and fatigue.

The Application of Eye-Tracking Technology in Perioperative Management and Education

The goal of this observational study is to explore the value of eye-tracking technology in perioperative management and teaching. The study aims to understand how eye-tracking can help analyze the attention distribution of clinicians during perioperative procedures and optimize workflows for improved safety and teaching outcomes. The main questions it seeks to answer are: How does eye-tracking technology reveal the focus distribution patterns of experienced and novice clinicians in perioperative scenarios? Can visualizing expert clinicians' eye movement patterns improve the learning outcomes and operational skills of medical students? Participants include anesthesiologists and medical students involved in perioperative management training. Eye-tracking data, such as fixation duration, fixation count, and heatmaps, will be collected during surgical and training scenarios. The study will analyze correlations between attention distribution and operational performance. This research will provide insights into optimizing perioperative safety and revolutionizing medical education using objective attention data.
