Association Between Trendelenburg Sign and Lumbar MRI Abnormalities

The Trendelenburg sign is a common clinical finding indicating hip abductor dysfunction and altered pelvic stability. The relationship between the Trendelenburg sign, spinopelvic biomechanics, hip muscle strength, and lumbar magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) abnormalities remains insufficiently understood. This study aims to investigate the association between Trendelenburg sign positivity and lumbar MRI findings, including facet arthropathy, ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, multifidus muscle morphology, and psoas muscle characteristics, as well as spinopelvic biomechanical parameters and hip abductor muscle strength.

Trans-arterial Embolization for the Treatment of Facet Pain Due to Facet Arthropathy

This single-site, single-arm study evaluates the feasibility, safety, tolerability, and efficacy of trans-arterial embolization (TAE) using Embozene microparticles for treating facetogenic pain due to facet arthropathy (osteoarthritis of the facet joints) in the lumbar spine.

Prospective Evaluation of Therapeutic Combination in Treating Vertebral Compression Fractures

The purpose of this study is to collect clinical and radiographic outcomes in patients undergoing vertebroplasty procedures for the treatment of osteoporotic or pathological fractures of the vertebral body to understand the role of sagittal balance in patient outcomes. To support this objective, the sagittal balance measurement of sagittal vertical axis (SVA), NRS back pain, Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale (Quebec) score, and complications will be collected. The secondary purpose of the study is to review the role of sagittal balance and adjacent facet joint arthropathy treatment in patients with vertebral body fractures due to osteoporosis or tumor.
